As part of their wildlife recording, the cottage owners regularly undertake moth trapping sessions which guests are welcome to attend, rapidly becoming a favourite activity for younger guests. It is a beautiful cottage in a very scenic location, spotlessly clean and a generous well thought out welcome pack. It was such a quiet location with abundant wildlife. We were near RAF Valley and on occasions the Red Arrows crews were training, which was very entertaining. Mandy provided us with a wealth of information and provided extra books, and went above and beyond if we needed more advice or help. I saw my first ‘Chough’ their, a bird I had never seen before. But for the nature lovers there were many species of birds and Hares running around. Indeed you could walk down a path to the local RSPB reserve. We will definitely be returning.
