"I will try to be as fair as I can here with our review. The house is absolutely gorgeous sitting on a no wake zone of the beaver river. We had previously taken 3 trips to the marina without too much problems. The owners always seemed to have a little anxiety with us launching on their ramp. "We arrived at 2am (travel delays) to find a property that strongly smelled of smoke in the front room of the property, the bathroom, and the back room. There is an ashtray directly outside the front door for smoking and clearly that has permeated the property. We stayed that night and immediately moved in with family the following morning. With an infant and an asthmatic wife, staying was absolutely non negotiable"

"We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. The views were amazing, and we loved the hot tub!! The cabin was very clean, and Bonnie had excellent communication with us. We had a surprise visitor from their family's farm dog who wondered up to the house and sat on the porch for a while. That really was no problem for us, we are dog people! Just a funny addition to our stay :) We all had nice wknd and are looking forward to coming back soon!"

"We needed a place to stay while visiting a loved one that was in the hospital. Little did we know how perfect these little gems would be! Patricia was a great host! The cottages at the river harbor were very clean and had everything we needed. Not to mention that they are located right on the river! Amazing! There are several places to eat within walking distance and a grocery store just a short drive away. Do yourself a favor and book now!"

"This was a clean, reasonably priced hotel. The breakfast was a full breakfast, and the staff kept it constantly refreshed. No serious concerns… the bed was comfortable, and the room was clean and had what we needed. What I wasn’t a big fan of was the TV and remote, they didn’t work very well and lots of the channels loaded slowly and didn’t come in clearly- they were pixel-y. And – just my personal preference – the bathroom had bars of soap instead of shower gel/liquid soap for the shower....
