“This place was perfect! Mike was accommodating and welcoming and full of information about where to swim and eat which were our priorities! The outdoor showers might have been our favorite part. They were gorgeous! What a location! Would definitely go back and wished we’d spent more time there!”

“This was my third stay at Jill's Mermaid Studio in the small, quiet village of Napo'opo'o, about 30 - 40 min south of busy Kailua. The village is right on Kealakekua Bay and close to the best snorkelling on the Big Island (IMO). Jill is very knowledgeable about the area and is always helpful and positive. The apartment had everything: good wifi, all the cooking tools I needed, lots of room and a great outdoor shower.”

“Great unexpected & laid back experience. From the exciting night drive to the site and then waking up to your own secluded and peaceful sliver of south Kona. The fruit/pig farm combination gives just enough activity to your serene little home - not to mention the frisbee challenge!! Excellent getaway from the city and typical Hawaii beach environment. Our Hosts made the stay comfortable and homey. Highly recommended and would definitely Hana Hou!!”
