Excellent Stay

This condo was perfect for us, it was clean, remodeled and the Murphy beds were great to sleep on. Location is steps to the ocean. I would definitely stay here again! Excellent value!

Perfect for us

Location was good. Pool was good and usable as the trade-winds were prevalent. Kitchen was adequate and we cooked most of our meals. Beds were comfortable. Open the windows, it’s Maui!

Location, location! The condo was close to beautiful beaches and restaurants. We did not have to travel far. Most wonderful thing was the pool/sunset view area. Easily accessible and perfect view to see the sea turtles eating in the evening before sunset. The condo had all the amenities needed to be comfortable and smells amazing upon arrival!

Fantastic views, super nice owner and rental company

The view from this condo is beautiful. The condo is well stocked with dishes, utensils, pots and pans. They also have beach chairs and an umbrella to use which came in very handy. The pool area is very nice with comfortable lounge chairs. The location is across the street from coffee shop,small farmers market, snorkel rental shop. I would highly recommend this condo..

Excellent Stay

Very nice place. All amenities for cooking. Ground floor bordering a small park overlooking the ocean. Sunsets were gorgeous! Beach chairs were there for our use. I am very glad I did this over a high rise condo! Local food and food shopping within walking distance. Excellent!

Clean, close to beach, comfortable

Great stay for family vacation. Awesome amenities in condo. Used cooler and beach chairs. Kitchen stocked with cooking necessities. Close to beach. My only complaint was the heavy footsteps upstairs and constant banging of patio door from upstairs. We were gone for most of the day so it wasn’t a huge deal.

Nice location, but see “cons” before booking

Pros: - Location was amazing! Close to everything Cons: - Lots of mosquitos! - Gets REALLY hot and there’s no A/C. The ceiling fan doesn’t help much - Beach had a lot of rocks - We had a family with kids on the floor above us so we woke up to the sound of them stomping often — just something to be mindful of before booking

Location, furniture, access to parking, laundry and supplies were excellent! I am very disappointed with the cleanliness of the condo -The fans were so dirty and full of lint that I chose not to use them. (guest services quickly replaced the dirty fans) -Curtains in the bedrooms and living room had a lot of dirt and big stains -the couch, chair and chairs in the dining room had big stains If the above would have been cleaned and had clean curtains I would definitely give it a higher rating

A wonderful stay!

We rented this condo for our wedding week in Maui. I LOVE that it is more secluded than on a resort, we basically had the whole pool to ourselves for the week! The unit is nice and well equipped with things you would need everything. I loved the Lani, minus that the beach was loud really late at night and really early in the morning. It is a very walkable area which was really nice. The only reason I took away a star is because the beach is not the best. The park is dirty, rocky, and LOUD all day and night. There is a small sliver of beach on the property, but rockier than other areas.

Great place!

We had a great time in this condo! It served us well. Accurate website restriction. The only thing to note is that the airflow through the condo with all the open slots of windows was not what was expected. With the description of ocean breeze through the condo, I would have expected more. Good thing we were gone most of the day but it was warm when we were there. Impressive was all the things the condo had! You don’t have to bring anything. Every piece of cookware, beach chairs, cooler, so many towels. The views from the property are amazing!

Incredible LOCATION

We have always dreamt of having a location right next to a swimmable beach . The location of this ground unit is incredible. It was about 30 steps to a beautiful beach from the unit. We also loved the two murphy beds since we have 2 teenagers. The “My Perfect Stay” staff & management were courteous & accommodating. The only issues we had were: 1- Unit was too hot since there was no AC. A few of the fans were not working or produced no air movement. With a few additional working fans it should become more comfortable. The unit needs at least 4 working/fast moving fans. There were 5 but only 2 really moved air/worked properly. We have sent feedback to agency so hopefully it’ll be taken care of for future stays. 2- There were a few small roaches that came out in the kitchen at nights. Our teens were bothered by seeing them. Overall, the LOCATION was a winner & it was close to everything.

Okay for the price, but not amazing…

The location is fine, and the beach on the right side of the condos was nice. Not overly crowded and we saw sea turtles, which was great. The description of the property made it seem that there were fans in the room and plenty of them…..this is inaccurate. Yes, there was a ceiling fan in the living room and bedroom that did absolutely nothing to cool the place down. There were no other fans in the unit. The condo was hotter than the outside temperature and NEVER cooled off now matter how many windows we opened. For us it was miserable. I will never stay anywhere that doesn't have air again. In addition, there is no laundry room in the unit, but a community coin laundry across the complex. The listing also made it seem that there were resident BBQs, however there are only two which again were located on the other side of the complex that to be honest we weren't sure if they were for the residents of our condos or the ones next door. Lastly, the shower temperature would be freezing and then turn extremely hot all of sudden and then go cold again. The unit was clean although we couldn't find a broom and would have liked to have swept after the beach days. To that note, my perfect stays was very helpful, friendly, and accommodating. While we would not stay at this particular place again we would definitely use my perfect stays again. They let us access the unit early when we arrived prior to 4 which was awesome. The person I spoke with (Debbie) was wonderfully friendly and helpful. When we entered the room they had even left some snacks and had a concierge available to help us book things to do.

Steps from the ocean

Hale Kei condominiums are on a lovely spot on the Maui coastline. You cannot stay much closer to the ocean than this! The condo is clean and well maintained and it was perfect for our family’s stay on Maui. The neighborhood has a more local flavor than the resorts, and this condo sits right on the edge of a neighborhood park that is well used. The pool is small but very nice and has an incredible front row seat of the sunset.

Nicely decorated and comfortable condo in the perfect location on the island

Great condo in the perfect location on the island there are green sea turtles in front of the condo everyday! With amazing sunset views. The condo was well stocked and comfortable with little extras that were really nice like a small cooler ice packs and beach chairs. The manager was always available to answer any questions

Great location, above average stay.

This is an above average stay at a great location and a very prompt management crew. Had issues with check in but they were sorted promptly by the property manager. The stay it’s comfortable but lacks some good to have amenities like an AC, big dish washer and a well functioning stove.

Right on the beach

My wife and I are outdoorsy and planned to be outside for our stay. We brought our ten month old son. This place is perfect! Sliding door open to a park right on the beach, food within walking distance, child friendly beach and general quiet atmosphere. The pictures are accurate. Bright and clean. Plenty of non-glass options for the beach and pool. The plastic wine glasses were perfect for watching sunset from the beach. Stayed at the end of August and had ideal view of sunset between the islands!

Perfect island getaway

This is a 1-bedroom unit on the ground floor of a family-friendly two-story condominium complex. It overlooks the beach and a neighborhood park with a nice local vibe. Convenient walking distance from shopping, places to eat, surf shops, etc. The kitchen is well-equipped—we stocked up at the Costco in Kahului when we arrived and ate in most of the time. It’s a really great location for exploring the beaches and hiking trails of West Maui; our drive to the summit of Haleakala to see the sunrise (reservations needed well in advance!) took a bit over 2 hours. We enjoyed watching the sunset and the sea turtles from the pool deck. As the listing says, there’s no air conditioning, but it’s well-ventilated with plenty of fans and was perfectly comfortable for our August stay. People are paying $$$$ to stay at the big resorts just up the road; you’ll have a much more down-to-earth experience here with money left over for adventures. We’d happily stay here again.

Amazing unit

Thanks a lot Hale Kai #107 for stunning view, great location, clean unit, updated furniture, easy check in and check out. We had a great time spending there. Definitely highly recommend this condo for families with kids.

Always a Good Time at Hale Kai

Saw large sea turtles swim by everyday and occasionally a pod of dolphins. There's a tiny private beach that's awesome and a small grilling area with 2 gas grills. Definitely recommend.

We enjoy the quiet, friendly atmosphere of this small complex with many afternoons spent at the pool. The view of the ocean and sunsets are stunning! The condo was well maintained, clean and stocked with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Our only complaint was the tenant next door smoking pot and burning incense in his unit. This made sitting on the lanai unbearable at times. We did advise management and are confident this issue will be resolved. We have rebooked three weeks in this unit for next year :).

A Week in Paradise

The condo location was excellent - right next to a beach park and across the street from the Farmer's Market. There was a grocery store just a few blocks away, and a gas station. Lots of restaurants nearby, too. The condo was clean, with plenty of linens and kitchen accessories. The unit had a great view of the lovely park and the beach. The notebook with instructions included lots of info on local attractions. The landscaping was beautiful, and the caretakers kept everything immaculate. My interaction with the management staff was great. Staff answered my questions promptly and politely. I cannot think of a better place to stay.
