Queen Kapiolani Garden is right behind the cottage, giving the setting a softer, greener feel than a typical Waikiki stay. It is a welcoming long-stay base for guests who want Oahu's south shore close enough to enjoy on foot.



The Space:

This two-bedroom, one-bath cottage sleeps four with tropical decor and a living room designed for winding down together. A teak bench, wicker chairs, and a small reading table create a relaxed, lived-in feel. The full kitchen is ready for breakfast before the beach, while air conditioning, WiFi, and a washer and dryer make a longer stay easier. Outside, the grassy backyard and picnic table give you a quiet place for takeout or a book.

Kalakaua Avenue is close for restaurants, shopping, and people-watching, but the park side of the neighborhood feels more residential when you come home. Getting Around:

Daniel K. Inouye International Airport is about 20 to 30 minutes away depending on traffic. A rental car is optional here, since Waikiki and much of Honolulu are very walkable, with rideshare and the bus system covering the rest. Beaches, shopping, and dining are often just steps or a short stroll away. Parking is typically available through hotels or paid lots rather than free street parking.
