This situation has been very unpleasant to deal with, and there has been a lot of back-and-forth. I tried to cancel the reservation two days after booking, I was told I would be reimbursed and that the host would call me . However, I still haven't received any reimbursementa nd no one called me. There's a lack of communication, both with the host and VRBO, has been extremely frustrating. They told me I would be reimbursed, but then later claimed I wasn't eligible. It's been a complete mess.
