  • Newly remodeled studio unit at the Diamond Head Beach Hotel and Condominiums located at the Gold Coast area. Very friendly building located on the ocean with outdoor space for watching sunset and sunbathing. Laundry facilities available downstairs. Parking in the garage...go to HARParking.com to reserve a parking spot at Diamond Head Beach Hotel. Metered parking across street..free after 6pm until 10am. Free parking across the park 5 min walk across the lawn.

The room and bathroom were very clean and had everything we needed. The bed is very comfortable. Everything you need is here for light cooking. The downstairs patio has an amazing ocean sunset view. Possibly one of the best.Parking was a challenge but Patrick, who is the desk clerk for Dimond Head holel and Residence (not affiliated with the Vrbo host), explaind parking. Street parking is free but limited, meter parking is free from 6 pm to 10 am. Very manageable but did require walking in the beautiful quiet Hawaii neighborhood. This was definitely not a resort but was perfect for my husband and my first trip to Hawaii.

Vacation

This apartment is in perfect location if you want to stay out of very busy Waikiki but in the same time you are close enough to just take a walk to be there. Place is very nice and has everything you need. I would highly recommend to reserve parking spot.

Cons: The pictures were somewhat misleading and not entirely accurate (the view from this room is vastly different from what one would expect from the 10th or higher floors of the same building). The couch is extremely uncomfortable. The shower is tiny. Not even a bar soap is provided. The door that divides the studio and the toilet is a louver door, so be prepared for your bathroom trips to be quite public. Pros: The room is spacious enough for 2 to pack/unpack. The bed is comfortable. No noise issues from other units or the neighborhood. Great location for walkers/joggers. Overall, I find the pricing reasonable.

Studio room with kitchen (no stove/oven). Comfortable bed. Less comfortable couch. Picture of ocean view is accurate but does not include all the buildings and roofs that are also part of that view. Parking garage was full but we didn't need it. Always found parking either paid (.50/hr) or free close by.

A breath of peaceful fresh air

Beautiful views, many beaches/stores/restaurants within walking distance. The room was spectacular with its blue decor and made it easy to relax, and the kitchenette was great!

Great work space!

I stayed at this property during a recent work trip to Oahu and it’s was the perfect fit for my needs. I had more space than staying in a hotel The building was pleasant and the neighborhood was quiet but convenient. I’d definitely stay here on future work and leisure trips to Oahu!

Within easy walking distance to Waikiki but far enough away to enjoy the quiet of the Diamond Head neighborhood. With a car rental, explored the entire island!
