CLEAN, COMFY, CONVENIENT
As one enters the unit, the first thing noticed was simply how clean and sufficiently appointed for a modernized vacation home-away-from-home. The unit is well maintained with walls free of any scuff marks from luggage movements you find in many short-term rentals. Bathroom is clean and airy with basin and shower free of any mold residue. Toilet seat bidet was a plus! Bedroom bed was firm and comfortable; sofa sleeper tad on the softer side and dips in the middle at the fold (solution: sleep sideways). Kitchen well stocked with appliances and plenty of tableware. Microwave and stove-top extremely clean with no evidence of burn or overspill marks. For beach days, appreciate the cooler, beach chairs and umbrella stored outside on lanai (suggestion: would have been nice to have a 3rd beach chair for our triple occupancy). Plenty of electrical outlets in unit for three occupants’ electronics.Location of condo unit building is ideal: towards the end of Kuhio Ave giving you a break from busy Waikiki thoroughfares; yet only 1-2 blocks away from beach and plenty of quality dining places (at different price points) on Kuhio and Kalakaua Aves. Since October 2024, a brand new multi-floor Target is just a short 10 minutes walk from condo for anything one may have forgotten to pack. The Bus stop is just down the block for public transit days and access to H-1 (freeway) is just up around next block on Kapahula Ave for a quick get-away without having to deal with Waikiki traffic.
