This property should not be accepting guests until it undergoes major renovations. Our pre-cruise stay, meant to be relaxing, turned into a nightmare. The room was dirty, smelly, and infested with roaches. I didn’t sleep for two nights, killing bugs and keeping the lights on to stop them (unsuccessfully). I had to repack everything to avoid bringing them on the cruise.
The carpets, walls, and surfaces were clearly not clean. The pictures on Expedia were completely misleading. The AC was loud and outdated, constantly waking us up. The outlets on the bedside lamp didn’t work, and there were no USB ports - something even budget hotels now provide.
The check-in process was slow and frustrating. We arrived late due to a delayed flight, had to wait in line, and then the front desk staff went on a phone call without apologizing. Then I had to sign an unnecessary long form which was all about their charges for lost key cards or towels.
Housekeeping is only done every three days, which likely explains the roach infestation as trash is left sitting in the room. Expedia should not list this property without a proper inspection. This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had. Please stay away from this place if you want to enjoy your travel.
