Excellent start to a great vacation!

We rented the entire property for 6 couples. The rooms were clean, breakfast was great and the pool was very fun. Great location in Hopkins, would definitely stay again.

All about the pool.

This property was a great stop over on our way out to another resort. We stayed two nights and the staff was amazing and the location is very convenient. The pool, however, is the crown jewel of the property.

Really helped with breakfast schedule! Our large group needed breakfast early several of the days during our stay, and that happened!

We got bed bugs while staying at this place. Also, our AC didn’t work, our room smelled musty and mildewy, the kitchen and living room area was not clean, and they don’t have lids on the bathroom trash cans but you have to put all toilet paper into the trash can. They say they will come to empty it every day, but they didn’t. It was gross to have our toilet paper sitting in an uncovered trash can in the bathroom for multiple days.

Nice accommodations - however

Caribbean Shores was in an excellent location in the Hotel section in Hopkins. Parking was adequate and the rooms were nice, clean and quiet. That said, the kitchen was not very well equipped -Two BIG pots, one frying pan, no sauce pans or smaller pans for cooking/boiling rice and/or vegetables. The Flatware was almost adequate. We had to improvise on the ice making, using tupperware containers with a shallow amount of water that we froze and then broke up for ice for our "Libations". A word of caution: (this is NOT their fault) - bring a surge protected Power Strip. We had a power outage and when it recovered, we found our charging cables fried - fortunately our devices were not damaged, but we had no way to charge our phones after that happened. The internet is iffy at times -I suggest that they get a MESH extenders for the buildings. We could find the signal by moving around the area until we got a strong signal. But hey, we were on vacation and the internet is way too distracting. I would recommend this place regardless of the kitchen situation - that can be easily fixed.

Spacious property.

Super place for larger groups. Easily accommodated our group of 14. Mini store on property. Few min walk to beach with many restaurants and bars.
