“We had a great stay here at the Muskie-Lounge River Retreat!! We were here for my son’s wedding. The cabin was clean and ready when we arrived. The Tenney’s were flexible on check-in times and allowed us to get in a bit early to be able to shower/change from traveling before our rehearsal dinner. Evenings spent on the deck around the fire was very relaxing!! Would for sure bring the family back again!”

“We had wonderful time. It was a gorgeous place to stay. Loved how it was in a wooded area away from others. The house was well kept and clean. The only inconvenience was the host would show up without any notice. Coming to check to see if we needed the trash taken or needed anything else is nice and fine but would have liked a notice that they were coming by.”

The hot tub was especially nice, as a soak and a few beverages while discussing our findings and knowledge gained was an ideal way to end the evenings. The neighborhood is quiet and is a short walk from the college campus.”

“Very nice, secluded cabin in the woods. Far enough away from a gravel road that didn't have much travel at all to feel secluded. Had good wifi, tv and all the things you need including full bathroom and kitchen. Well kept, very clean and seemed to be a pretty new build, (maybe only a year old or so). Close enough to the iga grocery store to get food to cook when you are not traveling around. Not far from old swiss village helvitia, historic bulltown civil war battle site and wildlife game...

“While I was under the impression that the surrounding property was a bit more open for hiking, the outdoor space was beautiful and I found places to walk. The farm animals nearby were charming. Some outlets in the kitchen weren't functional, but I found others that did have power and those suited. Overall, it was what I wanted: quiet, retreat, space to think.”

“I just wanted to get away from everything with my kids near a River we could play in. I wanted to be able to cook and relax. We felt so at home here. There was nobody in the other cabins on the street. It was clean, and the fire pit was great! My boys could go up and down the hill easily.
