“The property is exactly as advertised. Friendly goats and buddy the dog greeted us upon arrival. Very clean inside and fully stocked kitchen. The secret room was the absolute highlight of my kids stay. That is… until the hot tub. The grown up side was very comfortable. Master Bathroom door is translucent, with the toilet around a corner. but there is another bathroom for those who are not that married 🤓 the decorations are very cool. Almost like hidden treasures when you are not expecting it....

“Rented this property for Memorial Day weekend to be within easy drive or Pedernales State Park, Balcones Wildlife Refuge and the local wineries in the area. As the review title states....this experience was a mixed bag. I can't say there was good and bad, rather there was good and somewhat frustrating......but not bad. The Good: Property is definitely unique. Very clever setup and we didn't feel cramped being just the two of us and two small dogs Appliances are new and the hotplate and toaster...

“We’ll start with the positives: owner was responsive to questions and concerns; location was a short walk to The Island where we could watch the sunset over the water. Beyond that it was, sadly, a disappointment. The front yard/entry was overgrown so the entry path wasn’t useable. The house itself is dated and shows obvious wear, and hadn’t been used in a while. There were clumps of dust in the corners, burrs in the carpet, old, mismatched, dirty dishes & glasses and so much mold in the master...
