“My two daughters and I stayed one long weekend in April. Previously mentioned comments about the stairs are accurate- they are narrow and steep, but we are young and able bodied so this was not an issue.The house was in well kept condition and was perfect for our weekend away. The house was easy walking distance to historic downtown with easy access to food, shopping, hiking, and bath houses. Owners were easy to communicate with although we did not encounter any problems. Overall 10/10.”

“What a gorgeous and peaceful location. I loved sitting out on the back deck and just listen to the birds in the morning. The fire ring was used everyday. We used the grill the last night of our stay. The lake toys were utilized as well. This is a great place to go hiking. There was some ant noted in the loft -(mostly dead).”

“My wife and i absolutely loved this home. Everytime about it was just so amazing. The cell service was non existent and the wifi was close to non existent, but its exactly what we needed. “We arrived in the middle of a severe thunderstorm. The rain continued the days we were there. The cabin access road washed out. I contacted Theresa and within a half an hour she had opened her private gate for us to gain access to the highway. Wonderful communication, wonderful environment, super cozy and clean The vibe is one of being alone in the middle of a beautiful hardwood forest. The water feature is natural. The hot tub is perfect. I can’t say enough about how much I love this place.”

“We very much enjoyed our stay! The cabin is adorable and extremely spacious- easily fitting our group of 7 with plenty of room left over. Beautifully decorated and the beds and bedding were soft and comfortable. The hot spring water in the fridge was such a thoughtful and welcome touch! The paddle boards and kayaks were a HUGE bonus and the highlight of the stay! As was the hot tub. The only downside was the walk to the lake. Ample kitchenware so we had many meals there and enjoyed the nice spaces like coffee on the porch swing, sunset on the deck and nights catching up with the comfort of the indoor electric fireplace.
