“Listing description is accurate. Nicely outfitted with welcome treats, coffee pods, kitchen tools, and private parking. Your legs will be more toned after a few days on account of the stairs. Wisteria in the back garden was in bloom, lovely. Located right on the High Street so a short walk to all shops, cafes, pubs, restaurants, etc. Supermarket was very close by for groceries. The house is set well back from the tree-lined road so it's quiet. Occasional noise of neighbours in their unit but...

We only used the kettle and toaster in the kitchenette but there was a hot plate and microwave too so we could have cooked if we wanted. The garden is a lovely place to sit and hidden from the road (cul de sac) by bushes. It’s not the sort of place you’d spend the whole day in due to its size but that is reflected in the price so it’s perfect for a short stay where one might be out for most of the day. However...

“Hidden gem is just that a hidden gem, it's location is easily walkable to the shops, restaurants, pub, the beach and much more. It's quiet enough with maybe a little noise from passing traffic, it's compact but comes with enough space for what you need and I couldn't have asked for a better host, communication was brilliant and she was happy to help with any issues I may have had. Will definitely stay again and recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay near the seaside.”
