The bike path passes right in front of the house, so you can reach the city center of Hourtin by bike (2km) as well as the Ocean in Hourtin beach (15 km).

Hourtin is a small, pleasant and dynamic town with its port and shops as well as its city center with all amenities (markets, shops, cinema, etc) and the oceanic beach.

Hourtin is also close to renowned tourist places such as: the vineyards of the Medoc, the estuary of the Gironde, the famous city of Bordeaux.
And if you take your curiosity a little further (about 1h drive) you can reach the Arcachon Basin, Cap Ferret, the famous St Emilion vineyard and its UNESCO World Heritage Site.
