Very disappointing stay. Rude Staff. KEEP AWAY!

Stayed here for 1 night and was appalled at the unprofessionalism of staff and the condition of room. Got nonsmoking,the room smelled of smoke and mold. Fixtures falling apart, the lampshades were ragged, the one lamp had no light bulbs, the alarm didn't even work. I had to plug in the phone. The electrical socket had no plate on it. For the price I wasn;t expecting much, but this was a nightmare. I felt unsafe. People were loud all night- I barely got any sleep. There were people at the hotel that did not have a room there- and they appeared to be shady. The staff at check in flat out lied to me. I made a reservation for 2 nights. After seeing the location and condition just on the exterior I decided to make it just 1 night's stay. She said it was OK. Then, the next day, I was checking out and the manager states that I would be charged for 2 nights! I said I cancelled the second night's stay, and he replied that I had until 3pm on day of arrival to cancel. Well first of all I made the reservation at 8pm yesterday. Second I already stayed 1 night. I should be able to cancel the second night since I told them this AT CHECKIN. Wrong, according to their manager. They were going to charge no matter what. He was rude and was yelling at me in front of other guests in the lobby. Very unprofessional. I even showed him my receipt showing that I was only staying for one night, but he didn't listen. I called Expedia and they fixed the issue promptly. Called corporate regarding this!

Dirtiest hotel

The room was dirty. YELLOW bed sheets and towels with hair on them. Dirtiest walls ever as well as the toilet seat had hairs. when we complained they changed our room apologizing saying that the room hasn't been properly cleaned and they should have never gave it to us changed to another non smoking room that was penetranted with the smell of smoke only difference between between rooms was a hole in the wall and cleaner bed sheets

Way overpriced for quality and not as advertised

The staff was helpful with a check-in time issue at the beginning. That was the highlight of the stay. We checked the beds by pulling back the covers and there was hair all over one of the beds (not sure if human or animal). I asked a cleaning lady to change the sheets and two of them had a discussion (in Spanish) regarding the bed. It seemed like they were debating brushing off the hair, rather than changing the sheets. The lamp and microwave had to be moved in order to reach the only outlet to where they could be plugged in. The counter where the sink and mirror is, was loose on one side and seemed like it would fall down if anything was placed on it. There is no complimentary breakfast offered as advertised on Expedia, but there is coffee or tea offered. The pool appeared clean, but family didn't want to risk it considering the other issues. On Day 2, the sheets were changed and there were blood smears on them. It looked like someone had a small cut or something similar and rubbed their leg on the sheet. The air conditioner worked well on the bright side. If you want to overspend for very low quality accommodations, you should stay here; otherwise you would be wise to look elsewhere. You have been warned.

it was okai but room smelled bad the swiming pool was ok. close to kemah and space center. hard to find the place

Super Dirty Hotel

We knew when we booked the hotel it wouln't be spectacular, but the dirt in the room was horrible, the carpet was so dirty we never ever took our shoes of, there were stains in the carpet and walls the worts hotel ever.

The worst hotel ever...please don't stay in here!!

This hotel is the worst ever... everything was dirty, the sheets were so stinky, and their hot water was colder than my iced tea!!...

Excellent Location!!!

Stayed for the weekend and enjoy the LoneStar Rally... Aside the small ride to Galveston, it was very close to N.A.S.A. and some great restaurants.

Ok! For last minute trips!

Staff was friendly, housekeeping was great. They did not have the free breakfast as stated in the description. Staff said it was really only If manager felt like doing it. I found out after I got there that they are pet friendly. Wish I would of seen this in description, we had two small pets we would of loved to bring.

good location but doesnt seem well taken care of.

the shower head and tub had stained mildew on both, the sink faucet was broken. Did not feel comfortable taking a shower there.

This hotel was foreclosed last week, so make sure you get a cheap rate. Don't expect clean towels or ask for any service. When we stayed there the bank had put people in charge who did not even know how to operate the security lights. At least the darkness hides the stuff floating in the pool. The continental breakfast was the same the first two mornings... it was the same slices of bread the previous owners had left. Or last day here they at least put out prepackaged muffins. Nothing to drink here besides coffee. The hotel's ice machines and vending machines also were not working. All of those helpful or not so helpful people in previous reviews are now gone; they have been replaced by who ever the bank could find to man the desk during the foreclosure. Hopefully these people are just temporary...they sure act like it. No one seemed to care about service. When we asked about milk at the continental breakfast, the clerk pointed at a sign and read it to us...breakfast consists of toast, cereal and muffins. About half way through his rude recitation he must have remembered his last bowl of cereal, because he slowed down and said they had forgotten the milk. The hotel is really in need of repair by whoever takes over and the rooms do not look to secure. Besides the darkness, all the door locks had been broken and badly repaired.

Worst hotel ever been to

Our girl scout troop and their families booked rooms here. Upon arriving, the lobby had no air conditioning. The AC in our rooms had not been turned on, the carpet had nasty stains, the sink counter top in the bath area had not been cleaned with smear marks all over the mirror, and the refrigerator did not work. The pool was very green with a lot of floating debris. Everyone had similar complaints with their rooms, therefore, we cancelled all of our rooms and went to a different hotel. I would not recommend staying there.

Will not return.

Room bad old molded smell. The wifi never could get internet service and the bed box spring were broken on one side.

Wouldn't choose this unless I was REALLY broke!

I chose this hotel because it was one of the unpublished rates. I was not impressed and will not do that again. The listed hotels were much better than this one and not that big of a price difference. Room was not clean, bugs were on the floor. We forgot our personal pillows at the hotel and the managers say they can't find them! They're feather pillows with different colored pillow cases. How hard to find could those be!?

When i! At this location there was no one to attend me at front desk.after 10 minutes pass I picked up the business card of the hotel and call the number I thought some one might be sleeping in the back office will come. And attend the phone ringing infront of meafter2 minutes I gave up and dial the cell number was on the card.lady picked the call and apologize and said she is on her way.except first 15 minutes for wait everything else was good.my stay was only for few hours not over night.close to nasa and Galveston water front.

Wouldn't repeat the experience

The lobby of the hotel was extremely hot. The staff barely spoke english and was very slow. One guest returned in a fit upon discovering that there was already someone in the room the staff had put him in. The lock on my room door was not functioning properly and required 3 trips back to the lobby to get it straightened out. If I had the time, I would have canceled my reservation and booked somewhere else.

Worst experience ever

Worst mistake in mine/your vacation: STAY HERE! We booked 3 rooms under separate names. Pool was closed and dirty (on Memorial day weekend???), no A/C at lobby/front desk/breakfast area. I had to trade room with an strange because no-smoking preference,instead front desk staff offered a room without AC??????????, green area (almost dead) filled with dog poop right next to the pool (over 20 and not all was fresh waste), 2 towels for 4 people room?..no shampoo, other guest complaint about ants in room, STAFF UNABLE to communicate with others guest English speakers, one of my friends didn't get the 2 bed room instead got 1 king + another room without AC, no enough coffee on breakfast room, bad bread, I had to eat breakfast at McDonald's. lavatory drain very slow...POOR Management, POOR care of amenities. This should be only for truck drivers and not advertised by traveling websites. SINCE my stay the word cheap has a new meaning: Nasty. SEVERAL ROOMS WITHOUT AC...in Houston area is unacceptable.
