On the day of my groups scheduled check in I had not received any information from the host in regards to our stay/check-in. I reached out to request the information from the host (an hour after the check in time as we were still traveling to the location). I was told the home was having electrical issues that were not resolved in time for my reservation and my booking was immediately cancelled. My group was then left scrambling to find new lodging accommodations, after having booked this vrbo months in advance. I would have much rather appreciated an advance notice that there were issues with the rental so that I could look for a new booking prior to my travel. I feel it was very unprofessional how the situation was handled. I do hope they resolve their issues soon or remove their listing so other parties do not have the same experience.
