What an amazing stay we had at Hailey's place. It was exactly as pictured online and was the perfect getaway for a few days. It made me start looking at getting a house in the area, the view was so serene. Hailey was an incredible host with quick and professional conmunication.

100% honest review: if you're looking for a brand new house that smells like new paint and new appliances, don't stay here. However, if you're like most of us and realize that homes are lived in and each has its own story to tell in every scuff and ding, then stick around! First off, this is a rental and therefore it has the wear and tear of a rental. Some of the paint was worn, the kitchen chairs have stains, etc. However, this place is beautiful!!! The owner has definitely put with into upgrading the house and it's gorgeous. My kids lived for the game room. We played pool the entire trip! The dock is perfect for fishing and the balconies has the best view of the new years fireworks. We had a few minor issues and the owner messaged me immediately to resolve them, and then showed up with pastries and champagne the next day to apologize!!! Talk about a sweetheart. I'm going into my second round of chemo for cancer and this was our last family vacation. I couldn't have asked for better! The only downside was not being able to stay longer. You'll LOVE this rental!

Ideal house for a fun weekend getaway with the family! There’s a reason it was our 4th year in a row booking. Prime location to the boardwalk, well lit and sturdy dock to fish, and the house is equipped with everything you could possibly need! Looking forward to our next stay!

Fishing was great. We caught about 35 specs and other misc fish. The restaurants and bars were within walking distance, along with the Kemah Boardwalk. Our host, Hailey, was very attentive and answered questions immediately. Perfect trip overall.We will be back next year!

My family ranging from 4 months to 75 years had a fantastic time! The accommodations were perfect, not only was it in walking distance to the Kemah Boardwalk the rental had a variety of entertainment options for all ages. Toys for toddlers, game room for teenagers and young adults and the fishing dock was enjoyed by all! Would definitely rent again!

This property is absolutely BEAUTIFUL nside and out!!! I can't say enough about all the details this property has...It has everything!!! Fully stocked kitchen with all appliances/ dishes you need.Fully stocked 3 full baths plus half bath.All internet wifi /TV more..Balconies to enjoy the view.The view is breath taking.Watching the ships pass by through BIG BAY windows with zero obstructions..Every floor has water view facing the bay.The private pier for fishing and sitting is completley lit up and has water hook up for cleaning.There are plenty of games:ping pong,pool table,darts,foosball.Kemah boardwalk is only a 3 minute walk away.There are plenty of restaurants and bars and shopping available.Lots to keep you busy or you can sit back relax take in the view on the balconies hearing the ocean waves and watching the pelicans!!!The house is huge and plenty of beds for everyone to sleep lots of guests.There is a master on suite you will LOVE!!!!You will get good nights sleep and the A/C works great for all 3 floors.The water pressure was great and plenty of hot water.We had a big group of 12 everyone were able to get hot showers!!!Our host Hailey was AWESOME!! She communicated with all instructions.When I had questions she responded quickly!!!! Check in and out was a BREEZE!!! There is a welcome manual in the house with all info.The whole experience was fantastic! We will be going back.You won't be disappointed with the BLUE BAY HOUSE! It was a dream stay.Thank you D.Adair

Christmas Trip

Perfect house in perfect location! We loved the house and location not having to drive to the Boardwalk. Hailey was an awesome host and responded quickly to answer any questions we had. We loved the fishing dock and actually caught some fish and crabs. Everything was great!!

Weekend away

We had a family weekend to go fishing. The location was great. We did a lot of fishing off the doc. Walking to the boardwalk was easy. The only issue we had was the shower on the main floor leaks to the the lower level. They clearly have had this issue before based on the yellow stains on the ceiling. The ceiling had water pouring out of it. The host asked us to clean the drain in the shower. We were asked to remove all garbage from the house but there weren't any garbage bags. Overall it was a nice weekend. Just made it hard when we could no longer use one of the showers.

Fun, Unique, Clean

This was such a great stay for our big group of friends. We had a great time fishing, playing ping pong, and hanging out in the house. This place is super well kept and clean. Lots of pots and pans and kitchen stuff so you can make big meals. The boardwalk is literally a minute walk away, as are many fun restaurants and bars. We got to see a Friday night firework show from the house dock. We were basically sitting right under it. So cool. The host was very communicative and checked in on us, which I really appreciated. This is a great place for a big family or group of friends. If you want a perfect way to check out Kemah, this is it.
