Amazing property and host

Not only was the property itself great, but the kitchen was fully stocked with cookware - which isn't common in rentals! The back yard was an absolute treat to hang out in, and the weather was perfect for a fire in the gazebo.When there was an issue with the water heater, Margaret responded immediately and kept us in the loop throughout the entire process. When it turned out it couldn't be repaired until that evening, she was kind enough to refund that day of the rental. I could not have asked for a more thoughtful and helpful host!

Great for my Family

This house was perfect for my family. It was so convenient to have things like a crib, high chair, etc for my baby. And having 3 full bathroooms gave everyone plenty of privacy. The house was nice and updated and communication with the host was super quick. Would definitely stay again if we are in the Houston area and need 4 bedrooms!

Very Pleasant Stat

We stayed here so we could get together with family for Christmas. Six adults stayed comfortably with plenty of room for all.It is well equipped, spacious and the neighborhood is quiet. I would stay here again.for

Sufficient

Margaret’s place was clean and extraordinarily organized. Everything was labeled, which made it very easy to navigate to space. The neighborhood seemed fine. The bunk bed was quite squeaky, but our kiddos did fine on it. There’s a bit of a smell as it’s an older house, but Margaret had sprays available which mitigated the effect somewhat. All that being said, it was tolerable. Overall, we appreciated getting to stay nearby our relatives as well as the effort Margaret made to make the place accommodating.

Peaceful and Private

Lovely home with a beautiful yard in a quiet neighborhood. We were very comfortable, lots of room for everyone, including my pups, who thoroughly enjoyed exploring the yard. We only wish we could have stayed longer.

Great property and location

The yard could use a little TLC, had a tree branch fall overnight. However; the house itself was great for what we needed; plenty of room for everyone, all the necessary amenities and the location (very nice neighborhood) was a good for where we needed to go.

Feels like home

Tranquility at Magnolia is, in fact, tranquil. We stayed for 3 weeks during a transition from DFW and really couldn't believe we were in the city. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. The house is outstanding, more than enough room and perfectly appointed. Communication with Margaret was excellent and we absolutely loved the place. We became very comfortable very quickly - it was like home.

Excellent experience for Christmas!

This property is nice and cozy and was perfect for the holidays. My sister works in retail in Houston and has a tough time getting time off for Christmas, so my family and my parents decided to bring Christmas to her instead. Margaret was excellent with communication from the very beginning and answered every question I had. This continued throughout the stay and was the best communication I’ve had with an owner. The property itself was decorated for Christmas with lights outside and a nice tree inside plus other interior decor. Margaret left a nice welcome letter and gift along with an easy to use binder with instructions and local attractions in case we wanted to explore. Wi-Fi access was easy as well and is plenty fast enough for any online needs (over 200Mbps per my test). The kitchen is well stocked with utensils, dish sets, glasses, and bakeware including pots and pans. Even better, the cabinets and drawers are labeled! There is a k-cup brewer, a 5-cup coffee pot, and an electric kettle for your coffee/tea needs. A nice feature of this house is how pet friendly it is. Margaret provided at least 5 water/food bowls and two pet beds to make traveling light easier. Additionally, the crib in one of the bedrooms had an initial supply of diapers and wipes. There was a definite effort made by Margaret to make the experience seamless and help minimize what a family may need to bring when they travel. The fire pit out back was great and had an initial supply of firewood that would last one or two nights depending on how long you burned it each time. We didn’t use the grill out there but there is one. This was a phenomenal experience and I would definitely stay at this property again. Margaret is very friendly and does the little things that typically push a property above the rest.

Beautiful house and amazing host

I booked this house for my family and to hold a wedding ceremony in the backyard. Margaret was very helpful from the very beginning and went above and beyond for us to feel comfortable. The house itself is very spacious, has a lot of amenities, and a beautiful backyard. My family was very happy with the stay. We would definitely love to come back to this place next time my family visits Houston.

Perfect quiet setting and exceptional property owner

The house is 100% as advertised, bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. The house is well appointed from the pantry to the fire pit (wood is included). I can't say enough about Margaret. She is an extremely responsive, kind and considerate owner. Highly recommend this property.

Very Peaceful Location

The vacation rental was perfect for our family. We were looking for a house that would accommodate my wife, mother, brother, aunt, and me. The layout of the house and the amenities were well-suited for our needs. The pantry was stocked with staples that cooking our meals. The cleanliness met or exceeded our expectations. The location was beyond tranquil with easy access minutes away from shopping. Margaret was an excellent host with timely communication and she made us feel very welcomed. Thanks, Margaret! After not seeing my family for two years, the vacation rental was the perfect vessel.. My family and I highly recommend Tranquility at Magnolia and it will be our go-to place when we return to visit Houston again.

Exceeds Expectations!

My parents, husband, and I and our two young children had a wonderful time in Margaret’s stylish, super clean and sanitized, very well-appointed, and come to able home in a safe, lovely neighborhood. She was so responsive and even had a hand-written card waiting for us when we arrived. She was always available to assist if needed and thoughtfully checked on us during a heavy (but brief) rainstorm. There were lots of snacks in a basket waiting for us on the counter and sparkling juice chilled in the fridge. There were so many kitchen supplies and other supplies that were available to us, all clean, and well-labeled on the drawers and cabinets. For the baby there was a high-chair, crib, play floor mat, and baby bath, and even diapers, wipes, baby bath and other considerate items laid out. The mother-in-law plan was perfect for us, with my parents on one side, and 3 rooms including a nice suite for the us parents on the other side. The backyard has a very nice gazebo for hanging out. We had the best time and would recommend it without hesitation! Thank you, Margaret, and best wishes to you!

Perfect stay

We stayed four nights, five days in this perfect Vrbo for two couples and two pups. The home was as advertised; very clean, beautiful natural lighting throughout the home, spacious, and perfect for the pups! Margaret was a wonderful host. She was very responsive and checked in to see how our trip was going and if there was anything she could do. The home feels recently renovated and the beds and pillows were an AAA+! My husband and I travel a lot for work and stay in nice hotels with uncomfortable beds and pillows. We both agree we wanted to take the bed home with us, it was so comfortable. Thank you, Margaret!
