  • Relax with the whole family and enjoy a cozy house just steps away from Friess Lake! Explore Glacier Hills County Park and experience the breathtaking views, wooded trails, and serene lakes and ponds. The park amenities include, a playground, hiking trails, fishing, kayaking/ canoeing, and much more!

    The rental house is located just 150' from the Main Hall & Chapel, which often holds large events and weddings throughout the year (weddings often go until 11:00 pm - 12:00 pm on Saturday evenings and can be heard from the house). The house has 4 bedrooms and can sleep up to 12 people, a great place to stay for groups attending events at the park. There are 1.5 bathrooms, a laundry room, full kitchen, living room, and a private deck and backyard.

The host is very helpful and quick to respond for anything that is needed. Very nice location. Plenty to do large space for many people to be in the cabin, and close to many things to do. We would recommend this stay.

Very comfortable and spacious for 12 people. Excellent location for nearby restaurants and park facilities. Definitely recommend for a stay, and loved how big the kitchen was!

The location is great! Hiking trails are well maintained and easy to navigate. The house was clean, comfortable and spacious. The only suggestion I’d like to make is add more kitchen supplies such as bowls, mugs, bigger skillet, foil, and TP, as we ran out and there wasn’t any extra.

Celebration of Life / Vacation

Check in was easy we just had some misunderstanding when it came to the chapel and the hall that we had reserved for my Grandmoms Celebration of Life service but it was taken care of fairly quickly. We enjoyed the location and beauty that it holds. We hope to return yearly.

Great getaway

Really nice location with access to nice short hikes. Be sure to make the walk over to Wally & Bees, you won't regret it.

Family gathering

The property had plenty of room beds are very comfortable this location is going thru remodeling which will be beautiful when finished was short on kitchen supplies which I'm sure will be replaced when finished. I would rent again.

Wedding Weekend

We got the ranger cabin rental for our wedding at the hall and chapel. The cabin is very nice and has lots of rooms it was perfect for our groomsmen to stay.

Wedding convenience

We got married on the property and the cabin was the perfect location for us to spend the night. The bathroom area didn't appear to be thoroughly cleaned but everything else was perfect. It was also a very simple clean up.

The cabin was bigger and nicer than we expected. We and our guests loved the stay!

We rented this large cabin and several other cabins on the site for our wedding. Communication was great from the host. We easily accessed the space. It was spacious and clean. Best time of our lives.

Large Family Get-Away

We needed a space to just hang out and connect as a family. The Ranger House was perfect. We were able to hike, play games, cook meals and just relax. It was a bonus to be able to have our two doodles with us too. We would definitely return.

Perfect for wedding!

This was a perfect house for the wedding we had at Glacial Hills. Walking to our home after the wedding meant that bridemaids could easily collect their belongings. The firepit was enjoyed by the bridal party the night before. Enough towels and plenty of beds! Thanks for a great experience.

Relaxing sanctuary

The home was well maintained and had everything that we needed. We took our family for the weekend as part of their Christmas present. 7 adults and 5 children (4 months up to 7 yo) and we all had a great time. The park was smaller than I expected, but for the ages of our grandchildren, it was perfect. It was very quiet. There was a very nice beach within walking distance. We all had a great time. Would recommend this property!

Perfect place for our Family

Although the refrigerator stopped working the first night, the management (Samantha) worked to get a new one in. She was great to work with and we would stay there again. This location is at Glacier Hills State Park and the house looks cabin"ish" on the outside but is exactly like a four bedroom 1 1/2 bath house on the inside. It was very clean and had all supplies you would expect. Thanks again for your hospitality!
