Cozy in the rain

Perfect gateway close to nature. Close to the town, trails, and more! The cabin was clean, well stocked. We really enjoyed our time there.

Cozy and rustic and very homey, we enjoyed our stay and morning coffees on the balconies. Kitchen very well-stocked for cooking. With power outage in the area and WiFi help, the host responded very quickly.

Lovely Spot

Really lovely place in the town of Hunter. Very modern, with a well equipped kitchen, modern bathroom and laundry facilities. Plenty of space - six could sleep comfortably. Our host was extremely helpful and easy. Would definitely stay here again, I bet it's gorgeous during the winter months!

Our host Elizabeth was anticipating our arrival and reached out prior to our arrival for any last minute questions. The check in & check out instructions were very concise and clears. The property was unique in design very inviting and well provisioned for a comfortable stay. Beds and linens were very comfortable also. One can walk to the ski slopes, just as stated, which was convenient for our one day of skiing. We appreciated the Hunter A-Fame’s availability and our hosts warm hospitality. It was a perfect property for our needs.

We had a great stay! The property was just as described - the owner was delightful and very quick to respond. We loved our stay in the mountains - we look forward to returning. The place is super cute - there were games and a badminton net on the side of the house.

Great stay!

I took my teenage daughter and a few friends for a weekend trip. The house was in a great location with a beautiful view. The kitchen was well stocked too. We had a wonderful time and I'd definitely go back!

We came in for the weekend with friends and one family member and had a great time. Was perfect for three couples. All the kitchen amenities were well appointed Wish we could have used the wood burning stove but understand not everyone is fire savvy. The location to the mountain was ideal. Only problem we encountered is the street going right out of the house is 1 way during the week day and the Hunter Rep was less than kk d and made us sit for 49 cars before she told us to go the other way! Other than that little glitch, it was perfect and we will definitely think of staying another time in the future

Perfect fall getaway

This home is every bit as charming as the pictures! My 10 year old really enjoyed the basket of goodies, activities and coloring. My kids also enjoyed playing in the yard and the badminton set. The upstairs deck was perfect for relaxing and star gazing. The location is great with an easy walk into town for breakfast or dinner. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Hunter Mountain Weekend

Excellent experience. Great winter/ mountain vibes. Peaceful and quiet. The house was clean, fulfilling, and comfortable. The host was extremely responsive. Highly recommend if you want a quiet getaway. I walked to the mountain to go skiing with ease.

Cozy stay in an A Frame

Cozy home to spend 3 days while in Hunter to see The Catskills Mtn Shakespeare Company perform “Julius Caesar”. We especially enjoyed the covered back porch and the backyard to play games with boys, ages 3 and 9. The location gave us convenient access to town and the nearby creek. We also made a day trip to Kingston about 45 minutes away.

Weekend getaway!

We stayed for 3 nights and wished it was longer so we could have more time exploring the area since it was our first trip to NY. Loved the house and everything was clean! We will definitely be back! Only thing I should mention is the directions we received said Lanesville and it should have said Hunter, but we eventually figured it out.

Such a cute cabin and close to the mountain. In warmer weather it’s def walkable to the lift. But winter it’s too cold to walk it! But stocked with all the essentials. Great for a weekend getaway with my husband!

This A-frame cottage is absolutely adorable! Beautifully decorated and charming. Spacious indoors with multiple places to sit and relax outdoors surrounded by woods. Very clean and has everything you need! Close to ski resort but also plenty to do during summer such as see gorgeous waterfalls and enjoy a chairlift to the top of Hunter Mountain.
