Nice weekend trip for riding the mountains bike trails at Raystown lake. The cabin was clean, comfortable and close to all the raystown activities. Grill and fire pit are a nice touch. I enjoyed drinking coffee on the deck. Also really close to the lake. Walkable down a freshly trimmed trail.

communication with our hosts was excellent, very helpful and quick response times. beautiful house/property and very clean. nice and quiet area. as others have mentioned, path down to the lake is doable but certainly will be a little challenging for some. other beaches are a short drive away. we had a great time and would definitely stay here again!

We absolutely loved the house, had so many amenities. We enjoyed making small fires and sitting outside on the porch for dinner. Having the washer and dryer was amazing just in case it was needed. We will definitely book this house again. We love coming to Huntingdon, the house made our time even more special.

We had 5 adults, 2 teenagers, and 1 child. We felt there was plenty of room for all of us. We stayed for 2 evenings and would have definitely stayed longer. Short Walk to the Lake was fully stocked with kitchen pans, utensils, and plates ect. Cleaning supplies were available and everything was labeled and directions were available for the TV ect. There were also many activities, toys and games available for visitors. We rented a Pontoon Boat at Raystown Lake for Friday and had a wonderful time. This house was close by to all the activities we wanted to do. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cute, clean place to stay for a few days! were available a

Cute property perfect for a family or group of friends that love the outdoors! Just a 10 minute walk from a beautiful lake which we used to paddle board. 20 minute drive from an amazing hiking trail called thousand steps. We had a wonderful stay and would do it again in a heartbeat. The property was perfect and the deck was my favorite part about the house. Thank you!

We really enjoyed our stay at Lakeside cottage. Great, location! Very short walk to the lake and little beach area. Close to everything. 10 minutes to Huntingdon, 10 minutes to Allegrippes trails, close to 7 points marina. The cottage is super clean, very nicely furnished and had everything we needed. The covered front porch was also a nice space for hanging out. The owners are fantastic. Very responsive and kind. My daughter goes to Juniata college and we stayed this weekend to provide a nice relaxing study space for her to prepare for finals and for us to stay while moving her out. Will definitely stay here again for other school events but also hoping to visit in the summertime. Thanks for a great stay!

Great house, great location. My brother and I have stayed here multiple times on Mt bike trips and every time, we are beyond pleased with our stay. The deck is a great spot for a morning coffee and an afternoon beer. The house is close to town and the lake. Thank you again.

The property was perfect. There was everything and more already supplied from roasting sticks for stores, outside table to eat while cooking on the grill, to a cozy feeling of being at home. There just enough room that everyone was able to relax and not be bothered with one another if a baby was sleeping or if someone wanted to read a book. The beach was close to walk to if your energetic for a steep walk home. The house is loaded with cooking supplies and has all brand new appliances! I would rent this cute house again...especially after watching deer on the property in the morning.

We have been visiting Huntingdon for years and always wanted a place to stay near Raystown Lake. This location is ideal for swimming, kayaking, boating, or just sitting by the lake with your feet in the water. The house is well equipped with essentials for meals, sleeping, and general entertainment. Strong wifi was key and handled all our devices without lagging. The owners are very accommodating and quick to respond to any questions. We had a very nice stay with extended family and look forward to returning.

Renting this beautiful property was a pleasure from start to finish. The owners were friendly, helpful, and organized; and the house was beautifully maintained and well-stocked with all of the necessities. This property was perfect for a small trip to the lake to take our boat out. The house was clean and stocked well with all the necessities. There was enough room to pull our boat in the driveway. This clean new little house was the perfect spot from which to launch raystown adventures. It was 10 minutes to Huntingdon and it’s services, 10 minutes to the Allegrippes mountain bike trails, and a short walk to the lake. The expansive deck was a wonderful spot to start the morning with a cup of coffee and end the day with a book. The house was clean, the furniture comfortable and the hosts were responsive.
