I liked the price. I didn't like having dirty laundry and no laundry. There was no coffee one morning and no Splenda. There was also bugs in the rooms. The staff however did give us silverware and bowls.

Do not stay here! This place is for someone looking for companionship for a couple of hours!!! This place is absolutely disgusting and horrible! They are sticking notes on multiple doors and deep clean bed!! Roaches in the room! Half drink soda was left in the fridge! Disgusting! Do not stay here! This place should be condemned! I’ve stated some pretty junky places, but this is the worst I’ve ever experienced!!!!

Staff was nice and helpful. Maintenance replaced the smoke alarm that was going off in my room- they forgot to bring a trash can for the room. I killed 3 adult roaches crawling on the walls before I went to bed. The morning coffee was fresh and I appreciated the tasty banana. Renovation is going on in the building

The front desk worker was very friendly and accommodating, but that's where the positive things stopped. I expected a budget hotel. However, while I wouldn't say my room was "dirty," it was not tidy. Also, there are no hairdryers provided, so just be aware. There was no trash can in the room, the tub faucet leaked, the walls are paper thin. There is no carpeting in the hallway, so you hear everything when people pass by. Large home-sized trash bins were located in the hallway just outside my door for some reason, and they were filled up with trash. Also, they advertise breakfast, but the only thing provided was packets of instant oatmeal and hot water. I have a high tolerance for budget hotels, but I wish I hadn't stayed here.

The hotel is under remodeling. No continental breakfast as promised. No maid service. Limited staff. Workers all over the hotel. Is going to be nice when completed. For now, I would not recommend it.

Aida I am sorry about the Continental breakfast trucks didn't run during our "snow" storm. We are working hard to renovate quickly with the first and second halls about complete. I hope you will give us another try once finished.

Bare Bones Property, but Clean and Well Located.
This is a tired and bare dones property, but well located for my visit to Madison. Plusses: Clean, inexpensive, ample parking, near attractions, interstate and services. Minuses: This is a run down property. Paper thin walls, no amenities except two vending machines, no clerk at checkout, tired mattress (but clean) , deadbolt wouldn't lock, hvac and bathroom fan very loud, halls echo. I would stay there again, but not with family. It was clean.

I liked my room. It was clean and modern. I never got woken up by noise. I did deduct one star though, because the pillows were about as thick as cotton candy.

I am sorry your stay was unpleasant. Our staff has been short handed and were probably in the laundry room, I will coach them to ensure the ringer is on the loudest setting so they can hear it better when not at the Front Desk. thank you for your review it helps us to pinpoint corrections.

Staff at front were great. Looks great from front lobby. However, the property is rundown. Roach ran across floor. Room had no TV remote. Checking in room toilet had a poop in it due to extremely low water pressure. Bathroom door in 243 doesnt close. Not worth 81 a night.
