We had a good stay at the Roswell cabin. The location was convenient and the space worked well for our needs. Overall, it was comfortable and met expectations for a short getaway. A few minor details could be improved, but nothing that detracted significantly from our trip. We appreciated the quiet setting and would consider staying again.

Great home base for outdoor activities

The location and parking area were the selling points for my crew. The hot tub and pool were great for evening decompressing. The cabin is clean and functional. I really have no negative comments.

We came down with friends for the weekend to help family move the cabin had plenty of parking for our big trailer. The kids LIVED in the pool for 3 days and want to go back and stay in the space ship next time. The pool and hot tub were both heated. We had pleanty of space and enjoyed our time. My only complaint is that the pillows were all old and flat.

Great location

This property was in a great location, we enjoyed the pool and the host was responsive! The living room was not inviting or a comfortable place to hangout, the couches were very small and uncomfortable. The beds were okay but the pillows were flat and need replacing.

Hated it

I do not have really high expectations from VRBO places, but this place misses the mark on nearly every aspect. There is a remote that appears to control the AC, but the instructions are in Chinese. But what the hell, it was only 89 degrees. The “living room” furniture was some of the most uncomfortable and ugly I have seen since college. I don’t think even college kids would take it for free. The bedrooms have no bedside tables. None. In a place that caters to travelers, there is NO place to put a suitcase…other than the floor. Dining chairs were better suited for finger painting for kid…the ones that aren’t broken. There is one tiny bathroom with NO counter space, a pedestal sink that is not attached to wall, with a control for drain that comes right out. The checkout instructions tell you to load dishes in the dishwasher and start dishwasher. THERE IS NO DISHWASHER. Beds are not comfortable and use very cheap Walmart (yeah, I checked) pillows. In something I have never seen, there is an A/C unit with a wall intersecting it in the middle with half in two rooms. However, it didn’t work anyway. Plus the ceiling fan is set on winter setting with blades blowing air up into ceiling and mounted too high to reach switch to change. I could go on and on but won’t. On a one to ten, I’d give it a rock solid ONE. Proceed at your peril.

Great location and amenities!

Great communication and quick responses to any questions we had. Kitchen was well stocked with small appliances and dishes. Nice location to explore Zion, Bryce and Grand Canyons plus other local activities! Would recommend this comfortable stay!

Dirty Bedding, Broken Hot Tub and Bugs

Began with bugs appearing under our luggage, the kitchen, and bathroom. The bedding in one of the rooms smelled of sweat and was not recently laundered. The one bathroom had a shower curtain covered in mold and debris. The walls and ceiling in the bathroom were dirty. The hot tub never really worked and the protocol was to make phone calls that never fully resulted in resolution. The pool was dirty, regularly covered in debris, and cloudy. The towels were bunched up in buckets right next to the bugs randomly. There were insufficient supplies to wash and dry dishes and similarly. I am really disappointed with this property. It was otherwise cute and could have received a better rating but can't get past bugs and smelly bedding.

Perfect for what we needed.

Great location, close to Zion, Gooseberry Mesa and other local attractions. Walkable to many stores and restaurants. Check in was easy, texting with property manager was super easy and they responded to questions quickly. I’m very picky so bring your own pillow. Pool and hot tub were great even though it was cold. Bedroom in rear of house got cold at night so good thing we had extra blankets.

At first glance this property was darling, but the closer we looked.... my best friend and I planned a hiking visit to Zion, and chose this property for the spa. The spa was beautiful, but had no water in it the first night at 7pm when we wanted to go in. I called the mgr and checked in the am. It was full and steamy, so we were looking forward to it as we set out on another day of hiking. We got back that night, and it was empty again?¿? 2 days of hiking. No spa. The sofa was broken - the left arm was barely attached. The floor was buckled, and the gate to the pool/ spa did not lock. The owner texted me at 11pm to let me know she filled the spa remotely. 11 pm! That did us no good at that hour. What a disappiontment.

Utah Getaway

Nice comfortable house for family of 5. Recommendation for future guests, leave some information on where to go riding, quads, etc. from the house. We drove all over and everywhere was blocked so had to trailer our vehicles and go to Sandy Hollow? Did notice some insects/bugs but an exterminator also made a visit while we were there so guess just hard to control especially with the ongoing construction next door. Overall nice vacation.

Good Spot for Zion, Bryce Canyon

We stayed here for 3 days and 2 nights. It was well priced, clean, and had everything we needed for kitchen and bathroom supplies. Lots of places around to eat and the suggestions on their website worked out great. Would recommend and stay again.

Our Hurricane Habitat

On our first trip to southern Utah, my sister and I spent six nights at Area 51 in Hurricane. We thought it was nice and cozy, the UFO -themed décor was clever, the beds were comfortable, the front porch was spacious, there were TV screens in the living room and in all three bedrooms, and we appreciated having access to free laundry (though it was a couple blocks away). It was a convenient location for visiting Zion NP and other area attractions. Though our stay was an enjoyable experience overall, we have a few suggestions. There was a significant lack of storage space, which could be rectified by adding some small dressers, additional clothes hangers, or installing a few hooks on the bedroom walls. Putting a couple of end tables or a coffee table in the living room would have given us a place to put our evening drinks after a long day of hiking. We didn’t mind the lack of a dishwasher, but there was no dishwashing brush, nor was there a place to set the plates and silverware as they dried. And we would have appreciated wine glasses, even chintzy plastic ones! There were only two of us, but if you are a party of three or more, be aware that there is only a single bathroom.

Wonderful Home-Away-From-Home

We enjoyed the well appointed, pet-friendly cabin in a quiet neighborhood and an easy & lovely drive from Zion National Park. In addition, shopping was within 10-15 minutes’ drive, and the historic downtown was within walking distance. Another added benefit is Naughty Dog Training and Boarding which was 3 minutes around the corner where our dog could stay from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. if we were hiking all day. The beds were very comfortable, although most of the living room furniture was made for smaller to average size people. At 6’2”, there was only one upholstered chair which fit him. We enjoyed our stay!
