“We stayed at the Shelby Inn overnight Easter Sunday night, after a day of fishing at the lake spillway. The Inn looks to be a mansion in pictures, but it is also what might have been an upgraded 1950s single floor motor lodge, as well as a two story lodging building next door. Our king room was in the 2 story building, on the top floor. On the day of our arrival, we got the assigned room number and an access code for the door. “This is such a warm and inviting place to stay! The caretaker was very kind and available for any questions or needs, and made a great breakfast! It is clean and well-stocked with anything you might need. Will definitely be back! ”

“The cabin was as described. We enjoyed our overnight. The only negative is nobodys bed is my bed. Cabin was clean and had everything we needed. The owner was very helpful and friendly. We would definitely consider staying again.”
