This was perfect for a family weekend, with adult children, 91 yo and dogs. We were able to bike on the Discovery Trail, and take a mother in law to the lighthouse, (at least the top of it), a bit steep to the actual lighthouse without a wheelchair. Nice weather and lots of birds. We especially loved having the spotting scope to view hundreds of both white and brown pelican’s and other birds, including a kingfisher eating a fish. Loved our stay.

Even Better than the pictures. Close to Longbeach. Great amenities, spacious, quiet, beautiful yard. Fun to sit on back porch and watch birds, sunset and ships.

The views!!!

Absolutely loved our stay there. The telescope got tons of use as we watched two bald eagles hanging out in the nearby rocks for over an hour. The island was so fun to explore.

Overall nice family trip to the coast! Love the proximity of the property to Astoria and Long Beach, wish the weather was better to enjoy the property itself! Right on the bay! We enjoyed the charm of the old home, would visit again!

Girls Weekend

Spent a wonderful weekend at the beach with a group of girlfriends. The house was perfect, just like in the pictures. Plenty of space, well appointed with historic charm. We only wish that we could have found information on the history of the house. Highly recommend this property!

Bliss at Baker Bay

This is an excellent property. Built in 1906 with high ceilings and dark wood trim throughout, it has been updated with all the modern conveniences. View was spectacular. We saw many different birds, including a bald Eagle, pelicans, geese, egrets and cormorants. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you need to cook at home.House was very private and centrally located between Astoria and Longbeach. Ours was a family vacation with grandparents, adult children and grandchildren.

Amazing property along the Columbia River

We were nothing but impressed with our entire stay! This house & property were absolutely amazing! It accommodated our large family & had everything we could have possibly needed. We cooked many meals in the kitchen and had everything required for that. We spent a lot of time in the living room looking through the telescope & taking in all natures beauty through those big beautiful windows. Unfortunately due to rain we didn’t get to utilize the hot tub or fire pit as we planned. I highly recommend this property for a large family & we hope to enjoy it again someday as well!

Spring break fun

What a great home on beautiful property with gorgeous views. The house itself is beautifully maintained and has all the essentials and more. We enjoyed the kitchen space, large dining room, sun porch, hot tub and much more! Highly recommend this home for a quiet getaway or an adventure trip to explore Astoria and Long Beach.

Springtime family getaway

My wife, I, our four kids and two of their spouses all came together for a mid-spring getaway. The house was very clean and nice and accessories for the kitchen and instructions for the house were very complete. The spotting telescope in the living room was a pleasure for tracking all the waterfowl, eagles, herons, and shipping traffic. All in all, a very nice experience. Weather was typical spring - alternating sun and light rain - but it didn't get in the way of exploring the area.

Magical Listing

This was a last minute trip and I was very lucky to find this gem of a property. The home is beautiful and well appointed. The fully fenced, masterfully manicured property was exceptional. We were torn between wanting to be outside looking at the water view off the massive back deck or wandering around the property looking at flowers, fruits and veggies just as much as we enjoyed the special touches found throughout the inside. We will definitely be back.

Family Fishing Trip

Beautiful home and property. So quiet and peaceful, we were all sad to go. Comfy beds, plenty of cookware/dishes, etc. Added to my list of places to revisit!
