“Pretty run down. We spent a few hours there. Got at 1:30 at night. Got room with only 1 bed (4 people). They were nice and fixed the problem in 10 min. EV charger obsolete, could not plug my Tesla. Very old Tesla charger. Other charger required some network membership. Not great. Good I had enough charge to make it to the channel tunnel. But this increased our trip next day in 45'”

“Recommend the 5 Bells and their team very highly. Both relaxed and very professional, from the minute I checked in to a great breakfast. I was en route to the channel tunnel. If you’re doing the same stay here, seriously.”

“Disappointed our room was not made up had to phone reception and ask them to make it up no hot water at the bathroom sink tap staff were friendly and the breakfast buffet was good very picturesque hotel in lovely well maintained grounds excellent spa overall a very nice few days stay.”

“Lovely golf course and breakfast was great but slow. Room was very dated and the bed had a huge dip in the middle. Very outdated and an old TV so couldn't even put on Netflix and relax.”

“The staff were all wonderful and helpful . It was 36c+ . The building is an old historic property with newly refurbished bedrooms . A fan was in the room to help with the heat . Small but comfortable with a lovely bathroom. My room faced the front and with the heat I needed my window open . The property is by the traffic lights so if you are traffic averse , ask for a rear room . Breakfast is continental but you can pay extra for a cooked breakfast, but not on Sundays . Room for 3 cars to park...

“The view from my accommodation and also that of my family members in the two next door was way better than the picture - literally 'tree tops' - looking across the Kent countryside through mature trees. The terrace was perfect for sitting out. The rooms were modern and really lovely, air conditioned, well equipped and with a sliding Japanese style door for privacy when the kids were in bed. The reserve was so peaceful”

“Third time staying here due to the positive previous experiences. The positive streak continued with a great room featuring a fantastic air-conditioning unit which kept me cool in the June heat. A wonderful workout ensued in their very well-equipped gym set up. This was followed by a powerful shower and I went to dine nearby. Had a great night's sleep before a well-cooked breakfast got my day started perfectly. Can't wait to come back.”

“Very clean room with plenty of tea making facilities and lots of hot water, fluffy towels and a comfortable bed. Helpful full length mirror in bedroom. Some of the communal areas look a bit tired, but staff welcoming and room was great for my needs (staying overnight in area ready for family get together). Great location for Hythe and walk along seafront short drive away.”

“It’s not like staying at a Premier Inn or Travelodge but does the job. Could do with some updating and don’t expect an early breakfast as it starts at 9am. You get what you pay for to be honest and the bed was comfy, loo, shower there so just what you need essentially. Wi-Fi just didn’t work in my room which I’m guessing was because I was at the top so a boaster would help. Replenishing of tea and coffee, biscuits etc in the room would be great. “Stayed for three nights over Xmas. The walk from the pub to the accommodation was across a muddy unpaved carpark. Access to the room was via a combination door lock and privacy in the room afforded by blinds at the door ,room windows. Unfortunately there was no internal lock on the door and gaps in the blinds afforded a view into the room from outside. The room was cold on arrival and took hours to warm up.
