“We weren't happy with our accommodation at first but after we expressed our disappointment to the Manager, he was very accommodating and offered us another room. Throughout our stay, his service and the staff has been very accommodating. The environment of the hotel was comfortable and the breakfast and dinner served at the hotel were delicious too. The only downside is how outdated the rooms and facilities were. If only the owner and upper management would upgrade, I would go back to stay...

“Friendly staff and beautiful place”

“Great hotel in a beautiful location. We only stayed one night, but could have stayed longer. The pools looked fantastic and well cleaned. We had an excellent meal, and then played pool on the table next to the bar! The hotel is trying hard to be eco, and we had a very interesting bathroom surrounded by plants in the shower, and an open air roof - covered by mesh to stop anything nasty getting in! We watched a fantastic sunset whilst drinking cocktails. Very memorable. Staff were lovely.”

“Beautiful setting. I was a bit confused about advertised lake who is actually not on the property and holds little for guests. Pool area was wonderful very quiet with trees and birds. Heinz was most helpful in sugges outings and arranging driver. A few niggles: Breakfasts like all in Sri Lanka could use some tweaking with toast presented first to go cold and items not offered but available such as tomatoes or bacon: readily provided when requested. “The resort is set back from a busy road in a fabulous nature setting. Beware that 20 out of the 26 "rooms" are tents and only 6 are solid built cottages. If you want a glamping style close to nature experience then the tents are fabulous. If you want to have more privacy go for the cottages, which are very large and beautiful. Staff was extremely helpful. As we were few people breakfast and dinner options were limited but very tasty. Excellent option for a luxury stay in thw dambulla triangle.”
