Great home for a family vacation & wedding. LOVED that it was within walking distance of so many little shops & restaurants. The town trolley was a hit with the grandkids. The kitchen was well supplied for all our needs. We hit a hot spell & AC was much appreciated in this historic property. Thank you so much.

This was the perfect place for our family gathering for our father's memorial. We grew up in the neighborhood, so knew it well. The front porch was a great place to sit and catch up with family and watch the kids play in the front yard.

We had a great trip, the house was perfect. We had 1 little issue and they addressed it right away. We were there for a wedding, it was right downtown and close to everything. Just beware of the train in the middle of the night, they blow the horn like 7 times and it feels like the train is in the room with you.

Quick weekend

The house is better than pictured. Easy walk to fun shops and restaurants in town. Comfortable beds and nicely equipped kitchen. We were very happy with the stay.

Beautiful property, Definitely want to stay there again next time i'm in the area.

This house was beautiful and perfect for two families to stay together on a joint vacation. It was within walking distance of multiple restaurants and a short drive to the wedding venue we were attending.

Football game getaway

Our family had such a great time at this house! There was plenty of space for our party of nine and we were all so comfortable. We also really enjoyed the town of Independence, very charming.

The property was great. The remodel it went through was really nicely done and still maintained the historic feel. The informational binder provided pictures of the before and after, and it also provided some history of the property which was a nice touch.

Perfect house

We loved this house and it’s convenient location. Perfect for our Thanksgiving weekend, kitchen is well equipped, as well as all bedrooms and bathrooms. Temperature inside was comfy. Loved the cute little town.

What a beautiful house with tons of space! The location was perfect-walking distance to downtown Independence. The home was very clean, had all of the necessities, and made our stay very very enjoyable.

We attended a wedding in Independence and needed a spot for several out of state family members to stay. This house fit the bill perfectly for us. Lots of space, well appointed and very charming.

Small town feel

Just what we needed for our trip. Nice small town feel to relax from busy days of sightseeing and walking along the river trail for exercise in the morning and stopping by the bakery for fresh baked breakfast goods before starting our next adventure.House is a lovely remodel of an early 1900’s historic home with plenty of room.

Perfect Independence Gathering Place!

Rented the house for a bevy of beautiful bridesmaids for a wedding at Green Villa Barn. As a perfect location and very well appointed and clean, beautiful old home. Highly recommend.!

Comfortable stay

Great accommodations. Home was comfortable and beautifully decorated. Only thing we didn’t like was the rain that blows it’s horn every night at 12:30 and every morning about at 8:30. We had room for the whole family.
