This was the absolute perfect little spot for our getaway! Myself, my husband and our 1.5 year old stayed here and LOVED the place. Lots of thoughtful details…had pretty much everything you could think of needing, which was impressive to me in such a small space- especially the fully stocked kitchen. The proximity to the beach was the best part. Such a lovely location, not crowded and full of beach birds and gorgeous sand. The only downside to the home was the queen bed- the mattress gave my husband and I sore backs/necks after 3 night sleeping on it. Even so, we loved our time here and will definitely be coming back to this sweet, beachy cottage! It was extremely relaxing and we thank the owners for their hospitality.

Beautiful little beach house only a walk from the beach! It was perfect for our group of five with a little kitchen which was great! It wasn’t right on the beach but literally like a 2 minute walk so it was wonderful. The host was very communicative and the price is amazing for the location.

Perfect beachside gem!

We had a wonderful time at Castaway Cottage! Yes it is cozy but had absolutely everything we needed. The kids loved the bunk bed and we loved having our own bedroom (which was super comfortable). Steve was very responsive when I had a question upon check in. The location was perfect and the short walk to the beach can’t be beat, especially with small kids not having to cross A1A is priceless. We will definitely stay here again when we come back!

Perfect little spot for the weekend

The house was clean and in a great location. The space is on the smaller side, but honestly that was great for us because we weren’t there much. When we were, it was a cosy hang out! We loved the deck area in the morning for coffee and the beach was an easy access. Checking in and out was a breeze. We would stay again.

Fun by the shore

The place was just as listed. Steve was easy to reach and responded promptly. The walk to the beach was simple to navigate and even with it being a busier street it is well secluded and sitting on the porch morning or afternoon was wonderful!

Nice weekend getaway

This was a nice little house for two. The beach was in a few minutes from our place and plenty of restaurants with a few miles. Steve the manager was very responsive to all my questions I had. The shower was nice a hot. I did wish there were a few mirrors and maybe a clock in the place. Overall, I would recommend for a weekend getaway for two.

Cleanliness etc.

The property was clean an pleasant. The shower door would not stay closed. The toilet would not refill so we had to remove tank cover and pull up leveler. The last night the occupants of the other property had 3 vehicles and did not leave us enough room to park our vehicle.

Perfect !!

Clean, well equipped cottage. Location is great. Short drive to restaurants and steps to the ocean with no roads to cross. Would like to return. Found by accident leaving the west coast of Florida with the approaching hurricane Ian. Weather for our stay was less than perfect as most hurricanes are. Luckily returned home to no damage. We had every comfort needed for the short stay. Thanks for sharing your place!

Awesome Beach Stay

We truly enjoyed this property. It's on the beach in an area that is not crowded (or wasn't this time of year) We were in FL to surprise my brother for his 85th birthday and everything worked out great. The property was perfect in size, location, beach access and price. I cannot think of a single thing we needed or wanted that was not provided. We will definitely rent here again.

Castaway cottage, excellent bungalow for a beach getaway.

Extremely cozy cottage, great location and very easy beach access. The layout was cozy for a family of five with our dog. Well stocked with all necessities, towels, pillows, linens, beach toys etc. Description and reviews of property were very accurate, owner was very responsive.

Unexpected Gem

If you’re looking for a private beachfront experience without the cost and indoor view this is your place! Within steps you’re face to face with a beautiful private beach setting. The beach access and amenities were top notch and provided our family with our best annual beach experience to date. The property was clean and Steve was remarkable to work with and even provided us with awesome dining options.

Perfect!

Wonderful location and so private! The cottage is fully stocked with everything you might need/want. They even had shampoo and conditioner and body wash in the shower available for use. Check in/out was easy. By far the best vacation rental experience. Will definitely be back
