Winter Wonderland
The house was very clean and the check in process was easy. The owners of the house even reached out to us that we could check in early because of a winter storm getting ready to hit the area so we were able to get on the road earlier in the day. That right there should tell you alot about who you are renting the house from. I give the house 5 stars and will be returning in the near future! O and the view from the deck is amazing looking over the Indian River where we saw numerous bald eagles cruising the river looking for a meal. Great place overall.

Great place nice and cozy.
Beautiful cabin and property and property very nice and secluded. Owners are very nice and pleseant to talk to! Nice private dock and paddle boat was nice to use. Would definitely recommend to anyone! Even had car issues and hoast was very understanding about the issue which was very nice. Would stay again.

Beautiful sunsets from the hot tub!
Cute place, clean, very well-equipped and comfortable. Very nice view/access to the river - we enjoyed some really beautiful sunsets from the hot tub! Loved the pet-friendly option as well - our vacations are so much more relaxing when we aren't worried about leaving our girl behind. :-)

Wonderful getaway
Beautiful river view, close to everything yet private and quiet. Swans floating by all day and a pair of bald eagles fishing right in front of the cabin! Large bedroom, comfortable bed and very nice cabin decor. Very well stocked kitchen and baths. Jacuzzi was great after a day of skiing. Perfect for the two of us and our doggo.

Quiet Get Away
We werent even there 5 minutes before everyone was getting in the hot tub and having such a beautiful view just off the deck in the winter of the river made it even better. Area was quiet and peaceful and just what we all needed to step away from our busy lives down state. Definetly will be back

Peace on the river!
We had a great stay while skiing in Harbor Springs. The house was only 20 minutes from the ski hills & the hot tub was the perfect way to wind down each night. The house was perfect for our family of 3. Clean, tidy & offered all the amenities as advertised. The location is peaceful & private with scenic views overlooking Indian River. We saw eagles & swans daily- our teenage son got a kick out of "calling" to the swans, they waited for him daily in the am & they'd "talk" back & forth! Dorene was helpful with any questions we had prior to arrival. We'll be back!

Serene getaway!
It was so nice to spend the holidays in this lovely cabin. Dorene is super easy to get in touch with, responsive, and very helpful. The cabin is comfortable, has great amenities. Hot tub is lovely to warm up in the winter! Spent a lot of time bird watching. The swans are beautiful and we found a bald Eagle nest. Can’t wait to come back!

Cold weather hot tub
We arrived just in time for fall to come with us. Though the weather wasn't the best and the fishing with it the property was clean, private, well fenced (for the dog), and the hot tub functioned perfectly. We enjoyed our short stay.

Indian River in August
This cabin on the river is perfect for all who enjoy summer activities like boating, fishing, swimming, rafting, shopping and golfing!! This is all at your fingertips and the inside and outside accommodations of this lovely cabin including a boat dock and hot tub are amazing. The owner offers something for all ages and the communication, check in and out process, and security were the best we have experienced! We will recommend this owner and location to our friends and family and look forward to visiting Indian River again.

Stay at Rivers Edge
My fiance and I had an amazing long weekend at this cabin. Cabin had a big backyard, very clean, and had everything we needed. It was close to town and had the greatest view of the lake. Also appreciate they are dog friendly. We have stayed at other cabins by this host and they always exceed our expectations!

Rivers Edge on the Indian River
Rivers Edge was exactly as advertised and more! Very secluded feeling and awesome for our dog as the property is fenced in on 3 sides. Sitting on the dock watching the boat traffic and wildlife was awesome and having the hot tub for the inclement weather was a bonus. Also great to have the 1/2 bath even with just the two of us. If you're on the edge, book it!! Property manager was great and communication was clear and timely. IMO, best spot on the river and great sunsets.

This property was great and had everything we needed. We came to snowmobile but would love to come back in the summer and enjoy the kayaks and canoeing! Hot tub was wonderful after a day of riding!

Northern MI Winter Treat
Had a great 4 days at this perfect winter get away, great remote location, super clean Hot Tub, well stocked kitchen. Dorene is excellent with communication. Our minor thoughts, a good deep clean for ceiling fans and vents, other than that, spotless ! Would love to come back some day.

Consider vents and ceiling fans dusted and done! We all need to look up more. lol Paying lots of attention to surfaces these days due to that dumb pandemic and apologize on that....we will pay more attention to ceilings:-)

24th Anniversary Trip
When they say fully stocked, they mean it. I always overpack, this time, I told myself i would not, and no need for sure! The views were amazing! I wish it was warm enough to get out onto the river. The hot tub was perfect, more private than you think. We read journals, watched the stars, and just loved this place. If I could, I would buy this piece of heaven for my self! But it made us decide, and we will be looking for own piece near the area. Until then, we will be coming back!!!!!

Everything you need and more
We had a great time and wished we could have stayed longer! Everything you need is there and we felt right at home. My Father fished from the dock, we had a nice fire (wood provided), really enjoyed the hot tub and visited local places we used to frequent years ago when my Parent's had a place in the area. We will definitely book again in the future!

Great place to get away from it all
My wife and I and our two dogs stayed two nights at this beautiful property and wish we had more time. Lots of privacy and the dogs loved the large fenced yard where they could run fee. The weather wasn’t good so we didn’t really use the dock or the boats but there would be plenty to do if the weather had been warmer and dryer. The house and riverfront ate both very well equipped.

Fishing right out the back door, hot tub, gorgeous views, super comfy bed, very clean and accommodations were fantastic, lots of extra kitchen supplies. Very private and quiet. Great fenced in yard for our dog. A must for outstanding northern Michigan vacation.

Cozy cottage
This cottage is very cozy and worked great for two couples. It was very well stocked for meal prep. The weather was not the best, so the hot tub was perfect. Brought our own pontoon and the dock worked great for this. Caught a lot of fish out in Mullet Lake.

Glad cottage worked well, sorry about weather, sadly the weather makes guests give only low star ratings which has nothing to do with the cabin. lol Sadly this happens at all my homes when weather is bad, guests have a bad weather week and take it out on the poor home, no mention of issues with the home. lol

Beautiful area and nice clear water.
The home is absolutely beautiful and in the best location. Close to pretty much anything you would need, which isn't much since the cabin has everything you could imagine. The lakes and rivers are beautiful. Just sitting on the dock watching the boats is fun in itself. We will definitely be back. Dorene is an amazing property manager.

Quiet, private, secluded area, teeming with wildlife - swans, loons, downhill cranes all around. Took the canoe out several times, fished from the dock too. The cabin was super clean and comfortable, the hot tub was marvelous in the cool of the evening. Great new bar called The Station had just opened, had a great time there too.

Great Weekend
We stayed first weekend of March to do some ice fishing on Burt/Mullet lake. Not a very busy time of the year, but a lot of cottages don't rent out in the winter. The cabin was great and nothing could have been better. Wake up in the morning to see the swans and ducks swimming while you're still laying in bed (the Indian river doesn't freeze over in front of the cabin). If you want a nice clean cottage on the water, you won't be disappointed. The hot tub was awesome after a day of ice fishing.

Cabin was very clean and well stocked
we had an amazing week. Weather did not cooperate very well but still a great time. The dock worked well for our 25' boat. Appreciated the paddle boat, kayaks and canoe all were used. Caught some nice Bluegills right from the dock. Beautiful sunsets and boat watching. Thank you Doreen for the beautiful vacation, we will hopefully be back.

Relaxing Week on the River
We already booked for next year! Clean and fully stocked cabin right on the inland water way. It's wonderfully quiet and very little boat noise due to no wake rules. Fairly private lot and neighbors are quiet. My only complaints are 1. It was hard to find the first time, but signs are up to help guide you to the cabin and 2. The kids couldn't really swim there due to all the seaweed and soft sediment, but Devos Beach and Burt Lake State Park are a very short drive to town. Obviously, my complaints are NOT keeping us away next year! Highly recommend renting from Northern Lakeshore Vacation Home Rentals LLC and Doreen is very helpful and timely in all she does.

Great Vacation and location - We'll be back.
We have spent time at Mullett Lake/Indian River before and really like this area - this rental property was just a perfect add on to something we already enjoy. Our adult children came and went during our stay and there was enough space for all of us. We parked our boat right out front, the trailer in back and used the toys that came with the property: paddle boat, kayak, and hot tub. One small complaint: the first couple nights we were there the mosquitos were out of control - we had to get outdoor spray (not the stuff that you put on) and do it ourselves or we would not even be able to be outside for a minute. They seemed attracted to our Deep Woods Off!! Owners might consider spraying the yard occasionally to keep them at bay. Very nice place - We will be back.
