Nice quiet house. Met our needs. Management could have responded more quickly about a tub not draining, but they did fix it and the rest of the time was not a problem.

Family Weekend

We enjoyed having a house instead of three separate hotel rooms. The house was clean, well stocked and we felt completely safe in the neighborhood. The beds and the common furniture were all comfortable and well kept. It was an easy commute everywhere we needed to go.

Close to fashion mall

Nice neighborhood. Cozy accommodations. Ample parking. Very nice! Was close to the mall and other activities we had planned for the weekend, on the north side.

Overall “fine” but a few frustrations

On the plus side, this is a great location near a main thoroughfare but is in a quiet neighborhood. There was enough room for four adults and four kids to sleep. Unfortunately, I don’t think we will be staying here again as there were a few frustrations. The dishwasher did not work (and appears quite old) so we hand washed all our dishes. We used bath towels and paper towels because there were only a few dishtowels. The blankets on the bed are paper thin and we did not discover the two additional blankets (for all 4 beds?) until the second night. Lastly, when I inquired about checking in slightly earlier (helpful with our little kids), I was given the standard response that they would do their best but they could not always accommodate this request. Understandable. Then Home Base responded to say that I could contact them the night prior to our arrival to see if we could get in early. When I did so, I received the standard response again and when I brought this to their attention, they apologized for the confusion and said they would allow us in earlier for an additional $50 charge. This was nowhere on the listing that I could find. I was clearly communicating with two different people. It was then a bit frustrating to be messaged the AM of our departure asking to let them know if we leave early so their cleaners could get in earlier, when this was clearly not accommodated on the front end. Overall Home Base did not provide a comfortable or personalized stay.

Loved it!

Great house and great location near everything! It snowed and the gas logs made it so cozy - just needed a Christmas tree lol. Didn’t get a chance to use the outdoor firepit or grill but it looked so cool. A couple of things would have added to convenience - a Keurig and a stovetop griddle for making pancakes. Would stay here again!!!

Lovely home in excellent neighborhood

Enjoyed our stay at this lovely home. looks small from the outside, but spacious and plenty of room on the inside. Spotlessly clean, nicely updated. Heating responded quickly to adjustments, beds incredibly comfortable. Kitchen well-equipped. Easy check in, very responsive property manager. Excellent location - near great shops/restaurants in Broad Ripple neighborhood.

It was a great experience…The host was always in contact with me which made me feel comfortable choosing this home. The location was good for us because it was close to our family but anything you might need was close by. It was a quiet, charming neighborhood and we would stay there again!

Charming cottage delivers

We've stayed at a number of properties and cleanliness is the most important thing to us. All 8 of us commented on the cleanliness of the cottage thus the 5 star rating. A couple of nits to be aware of, none of which particularly bothered us but might others: if you go anytime soon, there is a major construction project going on in the street. We never saw much less heard any work crews so no delays getting in or out. Also, although we had plenty of room for the 8 of us, conversations can be heard throughout the house. Not a lot of soundproofing between rooms and floors. Again, not a problem for us, just something we all noted. The bedding was comfortable and the location perfect to the wedding venue we were there to attend. Andy easy access into and out of downtown. My guess is someone bothered by the couple of things I mentioned would still give this property no less than 4 stars.

Perfect location

We had to find a place to gather as quickly as a family to honor and oversee services for the passing of a family member. The cottage was perfect for our needs. The host was outstanding with communication throughout the process. The property perfectly accommodated 6 of us with room for more if needed. Well located for all of our obligations we were fortunate to find such a nice place to stay. I highly recommend. Although our stay was for a somber occasion, this venue is ideal for family reunions and celebrations. They have a lovely back yard which we did not use but would be great in the late Spring through Fall. To summarize, I highly recommend
