  • Welcome to Shadow Lake, an exclusive TRAVLR Vacation Home!

    Make memories with family and friends with the desert mountains and clear waters of Shadow Lake as a backdrop at this exclusive oasis. This expansive 6,000 sqft waterfront home gives you the quintessential vacation experience: luxurious indoor accommodations to unwind and relax, large chef's kitchen, a private dock for dipping your feet, a beautiful infinity edge pool, spa, BBQ and amazing outdoor space to soak up the sun and enjoy the desert life in style.


    The villa's incredible great room puts a modern spin on classic California style. Vaulted ceilings soar over the open-concept living room, dining room and fully equipped kitchen. Floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the lake steal focus during the day; at night, the city lights and fire pit become the focal point.

    There are 5-large bedrooms, all with en suite bathrooms, California king sized beds, TVs, ceiling fans and AC. There is an additional media room with pull out sofa as well.

    Primary Suite with Cal-king, fireplace, direct patio access, en suite bathroom with stand alone shower & bathtub, dual vanity, walk-in closet.
    Suite 2 with Queen size bed, en suite bathroom with shower/bathtub combo, walk-in closet, television.
    Suite 3 with King bed, en suite bathroom with stand alone shower, television.
    Suite 4 with King size bed, en suite bathroom with stand alone shower, television, terrace, mountain view.

    There is space available for up to 6 cars total. Street parking is not permitted. Oversized vehicles not permitted.

    It's also easy to drive to nearby sights, shopping, dining and more. The villa is a 20-minute drive to El Paseo, 3-minutes to Landmark Golf, 10-minutes from the Polo Fields, 15-minutes to PGA West and 30-minutes to Palm Springs.

    Property Rules:
    - HOA REQUIRES 30-NIGHT RENTAL AGREEMENTS.
    - ALL RENTALS ARE SUBJECT TO PRIOR APPROVAL BY OWNER AND HOA.
    - Lake access is restricted to guests using paddle boards along the shoreline only.
    - Home owners boat and any other motorized vessels are not permitted on the lake.

    We want you to feel confident when renting a TRAVLR Vacation Home. As a result, we have enhanced some of our cleaning procedures in the interest of our Guests' and Employees' health and safety. Currently, we spend between 4-16 working hours to clean each rental property after every reservation and have enhanced our check-out cleaning procedures to pay close attention to all details, specifically disinfecting all surfaces with anti-bacterial solutions. We frequently change all HVAC filters and clean pools twice weekly to help ensure optimal cleanliness as well. Our vendors and staff are equipped with protective gear such as face masks and gloves to maintain the safety of all parties.

    LOCATION
    Walking distance to the Empire Polo Fields for all the equestrian activities and Coachella and Stagecoach music festivals; minutes from the La Quinta Resort, Indian Wells Tennis Garden, Old Town La Quinta, and all the La Quinta golf courses. Highway 111 is down the street, with Costco, Target, Coffee Bean, and Starbucks, among many other chains and local favorites. Less than 10 minutes form I-10, you can quickly head to Palm Springs, nearby casinos and other Coachella Valley destinations.

    - FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS -

    WHAT TIME IS CHECK-IN AND CHECK OUT?
    Check in is after 3PM local time, and check out is no later than 11AM. Early check in and late check out may be available for your reservation.

    WILL I NEED TO MEET THE PROPERTY MANAGER TO GET A KEY?
    All TRAVLR Vacation Homes have keyless locks. This keyless system allows entry into the vacation rental through the issue of a “code” rather than a physical key. The code changes for every reservation so it is an incredibly safe alternative. By issuing the code prior to arrival, the check-in process is much easier.

    DO YOU PROVIDE DAILY CLEANING SERVICE?
    TRAVLR Vacation Homes provides a departure clean on all stays. A mid-week or mid-stay clean can be provided for an additional fee.

    CAN WE HAVE THE POOL HEATED?
    Your reservation "resort fee" includes the cost of pool heat (up to 80-82 degrees). This fee is not included on Airbnb bookings.

    WHAT IS PROVIDED WITH MY ACCOMMODATIONS?
    All of our vacation rentals are furnished and have a kitchen with amenities including a microwave, coffee maker, toaster and blender. Each property is stocked with cooking and serving items including plates, bowls and utensils, as well as a can opener, corkscrew measuring spoons and more. The coffee maker takes ground coffee and we also offer a spice rack, salt and pepper.

    There are bath towels, pool towels and bed linens. We also provide an initial supply of trash liners, toilet paper, hand soap and dishwasher soap. Bathrooms are stocked with Shampoo, conditioner and liquid body wash. Laundry facilities are also equipped with laundry soap and dryer sheets.

    CAN I SHIP A PACKAGE TO MY VACATION HOME?
    We do not recommend shipping directly to the home, we do not have mailbox keys, and there are many different people with access to the home: vendors, housekeeping, Guest Services staff, etc... so we cannot be responsible for packages once delivered.

    DO YOUR HOMES HAVE OUTDOOR MUSIC SYSTEMS?
    Most outdoor music systems are disabled due to noise complaints. We recommend bringing a Bluetooth speaker, since you can arrange them where you like and they are easy to connect to!

    DO YOU ALLOW PETS?
    Our vacation rentals are pet friendly. We allow for up to two pets per property for a fee of $150 per pet.

Recommended with the Utmost Confidence

"We recently stayed at Shadow Lakes and if it had been possible timewise, we would have stayed another month! We are a group of 4 couples (retired) that have been on golfing holidays together for the past 15 years. During that time, we have experienced a vast array of rental properties and the management teams that support the process. With the utmost confidence, we can recommend both Shadow Lakes and StayTravlr. As the property is around 6,000 sq ft, it allowed each couple to enjoy their own "space" - vital when a group is together for an extended time. The internal common area is expansive and includes sitting, eating and meal preparation. It is very well equipped - we wanted for nothing, although as Europeans, we fail to understand how local residents put up with such poor quality programs on the TV!! As the weather during February/March was excellent, we were delighted with the facilities outside. The attractive pool is heated during the winter, meaning that everyone used it - unusual for our group. The external area seamlessly integrates with the internal area - providing relaxing "al fresco" sitting, eating and food preparation. There is even a wide screen TV which we linked to a laptop to watch 6 Nations rugby match. This property is one of about 18 properties within a private development, surrounding a manmade lake. Each morning we took the opportunity to walk around the perimeter - about 30 minutes. A great start to the day. During our rental period, there were only a handful of properties in use so it was extremely quiet. Perfect for us. While the location of the property overlooking the lake and mountains is idyllic, Indio is a bit remote from the restaurants and shopping in El Paseo. But our group was unanimous in accepting the trade-off as the property itself is outstanding. No rental is trouble free. There are always queries that need answering. There is no question that the team at StayTravlr is seriously focused on delivering a good holiday experience and every query we had, was answered immediately and to our satisfaction. It does make a difference. If we were to return to the Coachella Valley, we would most definitely book this property again. In the meantime, we would recommend others to do so."
