The apartment was fine and served its purpose, but it is very basic and has some minor issues — dripping faucets, leaking shower and damaged bathroom floor. We were fine with all this — not expecting a five star hotel, but the pictures are quite deceiving. This building has multiple units and most of the photos are from upstairs which appears much nicer. For instance, I was surprised to find we only had a full size bed. The ad just isn’t clear and it’s partially my error for not paying closer attention. If there was WiFi I didn’t see any information on connecting and only see it was offered after checking out and looking back on the ad. The place is in a great location and will be amazing once the new Castle Experience is opened up. A few minor repairs and a clearer ad (separate ones for each apartment), and I think it would be a very comfortable and convenient location for visitors to the are.

Cute apartment within five to ten minutes walking!

Overall this place is a great place to stay! We enjoyed the convenience of parking up front and walking distance to town. This place really should have a higher rating from us but there were some little things that needed attention. There were two taps dripping and a lightbulb broken. The carpets could use a good scrub as it had several stains. The bed is small (double) bed and not a king sized bed and the bedroom had a what germ kind of smell which wasn’t intrusive just a little odd and we would have loved a lighter quilt option for the bed as it was very warm for the warmer nights. The dishwasher had to be run again when we arrived as it was not clean or dishes put back in place. There were two of the pans with non stick surface that were really badly in need of replacing. We had too few towels but when we messaged them, they came very quickly to give us more of them! So overall it was very nice but just a few things that could do with being fixed.

Die Wohnung war sehr schön und der Blick auf das Castle einfach nur schön. Wir mussten ewig warten, bis wir in die Wohnung konnten. Wir hatten keine Benachrichtigung bekommen, wie wir in die Wohnung kommen. Mussten mit Expedia telefonieren und das hat alles über 1 Stunde gedauert. Das war nicht so schön. Aber wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Die Wohnung ist sehr schön und praktisch und liegt in Stadtnühe. Es war nur schrecklich kalt und die Heizung im Bad ging nicht. Es wäre auch empfehlenswert, ein kleines Handtuch zu dem großen noch dazu zu legen. Das habe ich vermisst.

This property is very convenient to everything. There is a lot of confusion 9n checking in and none of that was conveyed to us or the other renters as we both showed up at the same time. Mine showed no unit and theirs did. I had no idea what was going on as we thought we were double booked. Very confusing and unorganized.

Family Weekend Stay. Our stay in Inverness was highlighted by the convenience of the property’s location, just minutes from the high street and a short drive to the airport. The views from the property were absolutely stunning, offering a serene outlook on the city’s historic landmarks. The early check-in was a much-appreciated gesture that allowed us to maximize our time exploring the area. However, we did encounter a few issues that could be addressed to enhance the experience for future guests. The security features of the property, particularly the locks on the doors, felt somewhat lacking and could benefit from an upgrade. Additionally, the hallway’s presentation was marred by a neglected plant, which detracted from the welcoming atmosphere. The living room’s remote control was unreliable, which, along with the dim lighting in the dining area, made relaxation time a bit challenging. In terms of entertainment, having all TVs in working order would be ideal. The sink in the hallway toilet had draining issues, which could be inconvenient for guests. Lastly, a more rigorous cleaning routine could help maintain the property’s appeal, as some areas showed signs of neglect. In conclusion, while the property boasts an excellent location and captivating views, paying attention to these details could truly elevate the stay from good to exceptional.
