“We had a lovely stay at the Decker House B & B. Cynthia prepared a gourmet breakfast in time for us to make our early morning tour of Mason City sites. Perfectly located a block from our starting point at the library, near the Meredith Wilson childhood home and museum and a few blocks from the Frank Lloyd house and museum. “Front desk staff day and night are a great group of people. The rooms could be a little cleaner in the corners but overall fairly clean. Breakfast was well stocked and had something for everyone. Food was tasty. Of course you do need to season to your tastes but that is expected. Breakfast overall great. The pool was nice. The only issue was with kids not leaving when adult only swim came. They were with a very large group so I am guessing staff may not have felt comfortable trying to enforce. ”

“It looked as though the hotel was in the process of a remodel. I believe I received a room which was finished. It was quite comfortable and beautiful. I did have a little trouble climbing into the bed. I'm on the short side, and I literally had to pull myself into the bed.”
