“We have stayed here many times. This time was the first time disappointed in the breakfast. We stayed 4 nights, first morning breakfast was well supplied. But the next day was less and the following day was even less. No eggs, no milk no cottage cheese. Each day was getting slim pickens. (but they did go buy a half gallon of milk) The thing is it was the middle of the week not many people there. So they need to plan much better. “We booked a last minute weekend in Mercer. I received a call right away the next morning letting me know our cabin was available to us for early check in. The cabin was the perfect size for our family of 4 and our dog. We loved how quiet and private it felt. We had plenty of space inside and out. “Very lovely remote cabin in the woods. We were there because of the fall colors and photographing waterfalls. We were about 9 miles to the nearest town, Mellen, WI. And there was a gas station and grocery/hardware/liquor store in Mellen. The place was very clean. We always do our own cooking and the kitchen was fully stocked. Plenty of room for the two of us.
