Week-end en famille

Excellent séjour !Maison au top, spacieuse, au calme, bien équipée avec super jardin et un vrai plus avec la piscine !Le soleil était au rdv dans l'ensemble, que demander de plus ?Je recommande vivement !Merci aux propriétaires.

Beautiful hideaway

Beautiful cottage superbly equipped. So peaceful, surrounded by farmland. Car essential but a good base to explore Normandy. St Malo just over an hour by car. Nathalie was a lovely host. We would love to return.

Super vakantiehuis! Met alles wat je maar wilt!

Heel fijn groot mooi vakantiehuis, erg schoon en koel en heel ruim met 4x slaapkamers. Alles wat je nodig hebt is er, met een heel groot stuk prive eromheen om lekker ongestoord te kunnen genieten. Zelfs aan een droogmolen buiten is gedacht. Eigenaren zijn erg aardig en heel behulpzaam. Als je wat nodig hebt zijn ze er zo om je te helpen. Supermarkt op 5 minuten rijden en grotere supermarkten lidl etc. op 15 minuten rijden. Erg mooie stille omgeving, ook het zwembad was prima en heerlijk op temperatuur. Een echte aanrader om op vakantie te gaan, we gaan er vast en zeker nog een keer naar toe terug. Het enige minpuntje is kleine wc beneden maar boven is wel een groot toilet, maar dat is ook echt alles wat er op aan te merken is.

Liebevoll eingerichtetes Cottage

Großzügiges und liebevoll eingerichtetes Haus mit Charme und Atmosphäre auf dem Land. Schöne Sitzgelegenheiten draußen und beheizter Pool, in dem wir auch trotz Regen schwimmen gehen konnten. Sehr nette und immer hilfsbereite Vermieter. Ein sehr schöner Urlaub.

Fantastisch

Mark en Lynda zijn super vriendelijke gastheer en dame. De vakantie woning is zo mooi, erg schoon en heerlijk rustig. Werkelijk alles is aanwezig. Het zwembad perfect op temperatuur. Ontzettend veel aandacht aan besteed. Supermarkt op klein stukje rijden. Le mont saint Michel zie je als je naar de supermarkt rijdt. Ze volgen strikt de coronaregels. Dat gaf ons een heel veilig gevoel. Wij hopen nog een keer terug te komen.

Great place to stay!

We had a wonderful holiday! A warm welcome from Marc & Lynda, a great house, wonderful location in a nice region. Even in these special times we enjoyed our vacation and felt perfectly safe. We hope to come back. Highly recommended if you like rest, nature & a pool :-) Keep it up Marc & Lynda!

rustgevende vakantie in natuur en comfortabel huis peacefull holiday in nature and comfort

ned : Mooi gelegen in landelijke omgeving, ruim, proper en van alle comfort voorzien; de eigenaars wonen vlakbij en zijn zeer behulpzaam en toch discreet. Zeer mooi verzorgd zwembad, voldoende ruim om te zwemmen. De trap naar het zwembad kan verwijderd worden als er kleine kinderen in de buurt zijn voor de veiligheid. Voldoende en comfortabel tuinmeubilair. Zalige vakantie gehad en overwegen zeker om terug te komen! englisch : Beautifully situated in rural surroundings, spacious, clean and equipped with every comfort; the owners live nearby and are very helpful and yet discreet. Very clean swimming pool, spacious enough for swimming. The owner sees to it that the stares are taken away when little children are staying, so no danger! Ample and comfortable garden furniture. We had a wonderful holiday and definitely consider coming back!

Grand gite de charme au calme proche m'ont st michel

Très beau gite rénové avec goût le charme anglais mélangé à la pierre normande. Un accueil chaleureux ...beau jardin et terrasse ...piscine ..un bel espace à vivre et de jolies chambres.. literie confortabke ...nous y reviendrons

Cadre reposant, maison agréable !

Nous avons passé un week end dans cette charmante maison : très bon accueil, on s y sent comme à la maison, cheminée très appréciable on a adoré ! On n est vraiment pas très loin du Mont st Michel, très sympa ! A recommander vivement !!

A comfortable home from home

Mark and Lynda are excellent hosts and our stay at the Barn was truely restful and refreshing. The Barn is well equipped and comfortable with plenty of space for everyone indoors and out. The pool is an added treat. A perfect base to explore a wonderful area. We could not fault it.

Superschönes Haus auf großem Grundstück mit tollem Pool und sehr netten Vermietern

Wir (2 Erwachsene, 2 Jugendliche) haben unsere 2 Urlaubswochen sehr genossen. Haus, Garten und Pool lassen keine Wünsche offen. Alles ist top ausgestattet, sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und sauber. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit, auch der Kontakt vor der Anreise war sehr unkompliziert. Die Umgebung ist traumhaft ruhig, morgens hört man nur die Kühe grasen...Wir kommen gerne wieder und können das Haus uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

Absolutely fantastic!

The Barn is tastefully decorated and very well appointed with everything you could need. It's warm, comfortable and very clean. The bed was great too, comfy and with pretty linen. The towels provided were huge and thick and soft. Location was nice and quiet but very accessible to St Malo and Mont St Michel and other places close by. Mark and Lynda were very helpful when needed. Can't praise the property enough, you won't be disappointed!

Great house!

We had a lovely half term break at this house. In a rural setting but situated close to French villages, a Carrefour and Mont St Michel - everything you need is close by. House is well equipped and we enjoyed the large kitchen and open living area. Very warm and cosy for rainy and cold days which is what we mostly had. Comfy beds and especially loved the little sitting area on the first floor. Had a great time!

Lovely Gite, beautiful rural setting. Shame about the weather!!

We had a lovely week in this beautifully decorater, spacious and very comfortable gite. Mark and Lynda are very friendly and welcoming, nothing seems too much trouble! The pool is lovely - unfortunately we had a lot of wind and rain for the week, so we didn't use it (and the whole outside area - seating, loungers, outdoor heating, large garden) as much as we would have liked to! The area is beautiful, if very rural. The towns nearby are lovely, but be aware that everything shuts down for the afternoon as is French culture, and there is very limited choice to eat out before 7/7:30pm, which was a bit of an issue having two small children who need to be in bed by then! St Malo was lovely and seems a bit more cosmopolitan (so being closer to here may give more daytime options for young families?). Mont St Michel is only 30mins away, as is Alligator Bay - both worth a trip. Overall a lovely stay in a very well-appointed gite! Thank you Mark and Lynda!

Lovely, quiet in a convenient location for sightseeing

We had a fantastic time in this beautifully renovated barn. The peace and quiet of the area is relaxing and with lovely and very friendly owners who have great knowledge of the area and places to visit, you can be as busy or as relaxed as you want. For those warm days the pool is brilliant. We will definitely be coming back and recommending to friends and family.

Lovely property Lovely people

Ants in our pants! This was a wonderful vacation. The property is well kept, clean, private and spacious. The owners Lynda and Mark are fantastic people and always ready to share their knowledge about the area. Even some hidden gems were revealed. The location of the property is very rural and rustic, yet its close to all amenities you need and close to most cities and sites to see. Thanks for a wonderful time! Great place to stay!

Mark and Lynda are very nice and we felt very welcome at their place. They gave us some nice drinks and things for the barbeque. This place was so nice and much bigger than we expected. A very quiet environment with nice walks around the house and only 20 minutes ride from Mont Saint Michel. The fireplace, good music and barbeque are nice assets of this house. Towels en linnen were perfectly provided. Don t forget to bring some salt & herbs & oil, since the house is normally not inhabited by others. The twin rooms are great! Big beds are great and bedrooms are good furnitured. The smaller beds have less quality matresses.
