“Kingscote has the basic essentials (Eg supermarket, bakery, petrol, restaurants), and is great base for exploring the island. Char’s place is very clean, comfortable, spacious, on a very large block. Very quiet. The hosts are great advisers of what to do / not to do etc. Lovely. ”

“Ratcliff was the perfect character filled property to catch up with family and explore Kangaroo Island. Private, well equipped and spotlessly clean we loved the outlook to the lagoon through the huge fig trees. The local mob of kangaroos that joined us for our stay was a highlight. Highly recommend. “This cottage would be perfect for someone wanting to completely get away from the world or on a fishing holiday. The view was gorgeous and it was so close to the beach, you could not ask for more in this regard. However, we needed to drive in and out of Kingscote regularly to find things to do which got a bit much because we didn’t realise there was nothing around. This was just our misunderstanding of the island though and no fault of the property, which really was lovely. ”
