“We were lucky with the weather and had a drink on the pleasant outside terrace before supper. Perfect location for site seeing in Ely. Private parking , although off site , is very welcome as no parking in town. All was good.”

“The room was clean, the bed comfortable. The walls are thin so sound from adjoining rooms is audible but my sleep was not disturbed. The toilet does not have a good flush. The bathroom was clean, warm. The shower was excellent and the towels soft and luxuriant. I liked the option of a bath but didn't use it. The staff were attentive, cheerful, helpful. Breakfast was good and was substantial. Evening meal on one night was excellent but not so good on the other.”

The room and bed was good but felt a old smell which needs made it feel that it needs a room freshner across the rooms and houses. There was good and spacious car park and within 10-15 min drive from lot of English heritage sites. “The hotel was lovely very nice room and spa facilities were good. Pool a bit small but perfect for a dip. Unfortunately the music from the reception area was booming all day and night so I got little to no sleep. Very disappointing when on a business trip and needing to be well rested the next day. By 11.30 pm I went to reception and asked them to turn it down. Originally I had thought it was some kind of disco from the restaurant it was so loud! “We booked a twin room that was very large. It was clean and the beds comfortable. The room and hotel could do with a bit of TLC but reflected the price which was really reasonable. It even included breakfast which was an unexpected bonus 😄 Staff were pleasant and very helpful”
