“When we arrived to the hotel, they informed us there was a storm and they lost power. That is understandable, however they provided no alternative or directions on where we could sleep that night. They only said they were closed and couldn't support or help us in any way. “Had a nice 1 night stay in the Brander Lodge Hotel whilst enjoying the local area. Parts of the hotel could do with some tlc, but the breakfast room, dining room and bar area were lovely and the food was great. We liked the gardens with the river at the bottom. Bedroom clean and comfy. Great hotel for the price. We will go back.”
