The house is in a very good state as it was just renovated (July 2018) and it was clean and provided a lot of helpful infrastructure like a dishwasher and a washing machine but also things like deckchairs for sunbathing.”

The space is compact but the view to the sea is expansive and we enjoyed sipping glasses of wine at the table overlooking the waves crashing against the cliffs. “My friend and I had an amazing trip while staying at the little pirate house. Its location was close enough to get to everything but off the path enough for privacy and quiet at night. We loved Monterosso and all of Cinque Terre and especially enjoyed learning how the history of the dates related to the property.
