“Had an amazing stay here. Highly recommend. You won’t be disappointed! Super clean, well equipped and very spacious. Host was very attentive and responsive to queries. The only thing I’d say (which isn’t even a negative) but didn’t impact negatively on our stay would be having it more secure to allow dogs to go out slide door within living room area to the back without worrying they’d wander off. Will definitely return. We had an amazing Christmas here and made wonderful memories.”

“Really well equipped house with beautiful surroundings. After clear instructions of how to arrive and check in we felt warmly welcomed with fresh flowers and some chocolates from Oban. Plenty of lovely walks nearby, but the house was also a great place to use as a base to explore wider, from a trip to Oban (picking up more chocolates!) to a walk up Ben Cruachan. We’d love to stay again and continue to explore. Huge thanks to Fiona and Andy for being such great hosts!!”

“Firstly this property is in a beautiful location and there are a number of places worth visiting in the area. The kitchen is excellent and the balcony was well used in the sunny weather. Everything that was promised in the apartment with 2 baths and a sauna. However, as it highlighted in the previous review the bed is not comfortable and the pillows are poor. It seems picky to highlight these things but you do need to sleep and it is a luxury accommodation which we and other people are paying...

“Our family of 12 liked the layout of this home and the decor was lovely. The beds are comfortable. We enjoyed the use of the hot tub as well. “This is an excellent house in a beautiful area. We had 15 guests ranging from 4 to 79 - the accommodation was perfect for all of our needs…it was warm, clean and comfortable. “Our favourite place to visit is the argyll and bute area, coming from the central belt with an eye to moving further north we really appreciate having nature on your doorstep and as a result we fell in love with this place. The hosts are very helpful, giving us updates on the day of arrival was so appreciated. Perfect spot for kayaking, fishing and hiking with a lovely, well kept lodge to return to at the end of the day. We're already looking to go back!”

“We liked our stay at The Scott. The hotel does not look fancy outside, but that does not matter. The bed was good, the bathroom very clean with great shower products. No fridge available. Our room was facing the main Street what was nice. Parking was easy (although it seems that spaces are limited) and very convenient when travelling by car. Check in and check out easy. The hotel is well located and we can really recommend it. We would stay again. ”
