“We arrived just after the kitchen closed after having travelled a long way . Given it was my birthday I was hoping for a special meal . When I told the receptionist it was my birthday the chef said I will sort it for you . He prepared us a delicious meal of fish soup and king prawns and pasta with homemade butter . It was truly delicious and I would say Michelin star level . What a kind man . The breakfast was equally delicious with homemade muesli and homemade biscuits with the normal extras...

“Interesting lodging. It's an apartment building that seems to have longer term tenants, it's not really a hotel as there's no staff on site. We were able to reach a very helpful and friendly staff person via phone, however. Shared bathrooms, kitchen and living area. Clean. Good grocery market 2 kins down the hill. Overall, good value.”

Secluded location with nearby fantastic areas to explore including Alesund and Trollstigen.would have been better if the driveway to house was grated and leveled in order to drive up to unload. Also, we were traveling quite a bit and would have been nice to have laundry working.”
