“I actually felt a bit let down based on The other reviews. Maybe during because of breach of language, we felt the front desk was not too helpful during our stay. We needed more than one pillow and they said no, wanted to rent a helmet for bikes and the answer was no. So we felt disappointed. ”

“Great resort next to one of the best beaches in Miyako. The facilities were excellent, with perfectly clean and spacious rooms. The hotel staff are some of the best I've ever encountered—extremely helpful and attentive. Special mention to Amy, who assisted us every day with any issue. I would recommend this place to anyone.”

“Customer Service at The Shigira was exceptional. We could not have been happier with the level of care and attention that Miyu provided. She made sure that every need that we had was attended to, whether it be restaurant reservations, transportation, booking a boat, booking our nightly massages….we felt that she bent over backwards for us. We have stayed at many 5 star resorts around the world and The Shigira ranks up as one of the best experiences that we have had.”

“寝るには十分なお部屋でスーツケースも２つ開けられます オーナーは親切でいろいろ教えてもらえます お風呂とトイレは共用ですが不便はありません 洗濯機も使えて（洗剤は持参）物干し場が広く、日当たりも良く風があるので良く乾きました 新城海岸、ボラ川ビーチ、ボラ漁港に近いのでスノーケリングに行くのに便利です”
