“The house worked out great for us. We went over to the town park several times and enjoyed the fire pit (calling to check the local fire safety status was new to me but understandable, especially given the amount of wildfires in MN/Canada).It is definitely quieter on the north side of the island which was just right for us. Thanks for letting us use the place!”

“Highly recommend this home for families - perfect with four bedrooms, three baths with two connected to bedrooms, ample seating and dining areas and three separate gathering areas with comfortable sofas, pool table, games and tv’s. Very clean and well maintained. Loved that it was walking distance in Bayfield to the waterfront and shops and restaurants! We had a wonderful three night stay. ”

“Everything was great. Check-in was smooth with Larry giving us an overview of how everything works. Kitchen was was well appointed (bring your own spices)Knives could use some sharpening. (I'm fussy) The beach was beautiful, the kids loved doing the steps to get their steps in. I used the lift on the way back up.”

“Kitchen was excellently stocked with utensils, dishes, pans etc. and spacious.We could never get the combination for entry to work so used the “hidden” key.Plenty of towels and bedding. Over all plenty of room and furniture.With one bathroom and 6 adults it would be nice to have mirrors in each bedroom.We also grilled on evening.. Nice restaurants and cafe’s available.”

“This is our second stay at this lovely home. We love everything about this place and I especially like that it has a washer and dryer and a well equipped kitchen. MaryAnn has thought of everything. You won’t need a thing while staying here. The house is very clean And decorated tastefully to make you feel at home. We plan to visit again and highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to visit Bayfield.”

“My sisters and I (all in our 50's) took our 1st ever sisters trip to hike parks with waterfalls. We drove 5 to 7 hours to stay at this beautiful property. It was peaceful, comfortable, and the center of our adventures. The host was easy to communicate with and even gave us several local suggestions of activities going on during our time here. Definitely one of the best hosts I have ever had the pleasure of renting from in my travels. Definitely will be recommending her to my friends! ”

“This place is amazing. We were a bit worried about no AC, but after the first warm night the temps dropped and we were fine. We absolutely loved the screened in porch, which is where we spent most of our time after a day of sightseeing. ”

“Island Fox was a nice home to stay on the island and had everything we needed and was conveniently located. The screened in porch was comfortable to sit and read without the bugs. We even saw a bear! The check in process ended up being very easy however I didn’t get communication on it in advance and no response when I messaged and called on our drive up. All in all a great stay. Thank you for sharing your home.”
