“Gooseberry Cottage is set back in the birch and pine forest on the coast of Madeline Island. It's very peaceful, charming and comfortable. I was there to visit with my best friend from grade school and her significant other and meet other friends and family staying at other cabins on Madeline Island. “The property was perfect for our young family - the screened in porch allowed for many card games, meals (and a few naps!) within view of Lake Superior. “We really enjoyed our stay on Madeline island! The house was great! We enjoyed time on the beach and were glad for the lift up the hill between the beach and the house.
