“This apartment was a great location to walk to the shops and restaurants in Oak Bluffs. We typically don't rent 1 bed/1 bath properties but we would rent this one again. “The stay was great. Quiet neighborhood in the off season and a quick walk to the beach. The interior was perfect for writing. The kitchenette was dated and the stove/range was iffy but I managed to make simple meals. “The minute we set foot I took a nap which I never do. It was super clean, in a great little neighborhood surrounded by beautiful homes and we nestled into this adorable cottage. Plenty of room and all you need. A bit of a throwback in time as it’s very basic and simple and as an interior designer I’d love to revamp it a bit but I enjoyed the simplicity and authenticity. “Pros: bus stop directly across the street was a huge plus and it is free through 2025. Renovation of basement (and it was bright inspite of lower level location) done very well and decor was locally specific which we loved! Lots of books, comfy beds, hot water in the shower even with three people taking showers in a row. TV worked flawlessly. Temps in unit were perfect throughout the stay. Plenty of blankets for the beds. Cons: a bit musty yet owners did well to have a dehumidifier in the unit....

“This house was perfect for us. Grateful that Bill was able to accommodate us. It’s the perfect location in Oak Bluffs, a quick walk to Tony’s and a nice walk to the harbor. The rooms are spacious and with a little coordination the one bathroom was not a problem. The outside shower was a plus. The portable air conditioning kept the living room cool as a gathering spot.
