“We enjoyed our stay in a bus. The location is beautiful located just next to a fjeld, and it just looked stunning. We slept 4 in the bus, and used the shared toilets and showers. It is an easy short car ride from Reykjavik, and we also did a daytrip through the golden circle from here. The campsite has cats and chicken, and we enjoyed their “visits”. “We were really excited to stay here, but there were multiple reasons we probably wouldn't again. The pictures make these tents looks like they are isolated. Instead they are located in a semicircle 10 feet each other, meaning there is not a lot of privacy and you will hear your neighbors' conversations. The path to get to our assigned tent was only partially cut, walking through 2-ft tall weeds. The screen material on our tent's entrance had a large rip and the zipper didn't work to fully close...

“Die Hütte ist süß. Ca 10 m vor der Hütte sind warmes und kaltes Wasser - das ist super, nur etwas kompliziert bei Wind;-)) Man sollte wissen: Die Gemeinschaftsküche sowie Bad/Toiletten sind ca 100 m entfernt. Und man sollte lieber vorher woanders Lebensmittel kaufen, da es in der Nähe nur einen sehr teuren „Krambudin“ gibt.”
