“Great position with lovely views over St Peter Port Harbour, from our balcony and the dining room. The food in the restaurant was first class with an extensive menu and local fish and ingredients. Breakfasts were also excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful and made our stay great. We could not fault anything.”
“The room has lovely sea views but the carpet is heavily stained and the decor generally quite tired. The room was also incredibly hot despite being offered a fan by the helpful staff. It is a great hindrance that the windows cannot be opened more than a few inches.
For a hotel of this reputation and in this price range, air conditioning should be incorporated throughout.

“We were in the cheapest room type so we weren't expecting a view but in fact we could see sideways across the bay and inland which was very green. The room was comfortable and nicely furnished with plenty of storage. It had two chairs and a little table which means you don't always have to sit on the bed. Teas, milks and biscuits were topped up daily which is by no means the case in all hotels. The breakfast was acceptable, some good additional choices can be ordered instead of the buffet. A fan...
