“I honestly cannot rate my stay at Papageno Resort in Kadavu highly enough. As a backpacker on a budget, staying here was a very special treat for me, and it exceeded every expectation.
Every single member of the staff, without exception, was incredibly friendly, caring, and genuinely focused on making sure I had the best possible experience. Their warmth and kindness made such a difference, and I truly felt welcomed throughout my stay.

“Unfortunately, our experience at The Beach House was quite disappointing. The staff were not very helpful or welcoming, and the food was quite average.
The room was also very dark and unfortunately had cobwebs, which made it feel like it had not been properly cleaned or maintained.
Overall, we expected a much better experience and were disappointed with the quality of the service, food, and room. Hopefully, these issues can be addressed for future guests”
“The best shower for all hotel I had been. There were so many activities for you to enjoy. I met new friends, so fun. The property builders in 1972, still good maintain. The best of all to make this place luxury was the team members who work here. They were so nice, friendly and helpful.”

Los trabajadores del resort son muy amables y divertidos, se esfuerzan para que todi el mundo estan cuidados y como en casa. La experiencia ha sido unico, poder estar casi imerso en la cultura fiji con visitas al colegio, comunidad y ver su baile y oir la musica, comer los platos tipicos etc”
“To stay at Crusoe‘s retreat is to go back in time. I live in Hawaii and the feeling was of how it must have been at least 60 years ago. I loved the simplicity of the resort.
I brought my own mask and snorkel, but they have sets you can use for free. They also have kayaks you can use for free.
An authentic village is close by and one of my friends suggested bringing things like crayons and pencils. They were very grateful.
They will arrange excursions, but for me the highlight of staying at this...
“Estuve solo un día para poder llegar a un vuelo temprano en Suva y la verdad es que fue una grata sorpresa, venia de un resort 5 estrellas y la verdad es que salvando las distancias, y si toman un bongaslow con aire acondicionado, no tienen que envidiarle . El entorno es muy lindo, la reserva es fantástica, me recordaba a las cataratas del Iguazu. La atención es muy amable y el baño compartido que pensé que no iba a usar, muy limpio y bien provisto.”
